We like to travel. I've canceled three vacations already this year. Really didn't want to go back to Disney but it's all that's open really. And somewhat normal.

So I rented a house next week in Kissimmee. And a condo in Daytona for the weekend. (Haven't been to Daytona since I was 8 but hear it got shitty so I may have made a mistake there. Lol)

Hoping that the parks will be open. Have universal two days and three Disney parks reserved already. (No more park hopping)
Just keep hearing about an uptick and that this holiday will be bad.

I've already had covid so not worried about getting it.

Disney just announced that they are increasing park capacity up to 35%. I don't see them reversing course all of a sudden.

DeSantis isn’t shutting down. Disney will be open.

Florida is the one state I feel we can count on for some normalcy.

Almost feels weird saying that

My uncle is there now and appears to be having fun.

neighbors just when to Disney last weekend I can honestly say from the pics on their facebook it finally looked fun with hardly anyone there compared to normal before the covid. We had season tickets for years but dropped them because it became so miserable with so many people. Honestly I am getting myself and my wife Disney tickets for Christmas now.

We hope FLA is open in February/March 2021..We've done road trips to Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Arkansas, Big Bend, and the Smoky Mts the last 2 years. Our next trip is FLA all the way to the Keys.. We'll rent a car and fly back to Houston from Key West to save the drive back..

Florida isn’t closing down. Monroe County (the Keys) does have its own mask law though. It’s full send besides that though.

Wife and I will be posted up at a bar or in the mangroves on kayaks the majority of the time so I don’t mind having to sport a mask between venues if it means shite is open.

Asking for a friend- mask required at strip clubs?

Yep, I see hardly anyone in their pics. That has to be nice even if you HAVE to wear a mask.

Can’t help ya there But generally they’re only required inside a business/restaurant/bar while you aren’t seated or drinking/eating (And even then they aren’t really required depending on the place) so you shouldn’t have a problem once you grab a seat.

ETA: Schooner Wharf Bar seems like a place you’d enjoy.

Just looked at the COVID curves for Florida. They seem to be past the peak of a very small cases spike, and the deaths have drifted up, but will probably follow cases down. Florida will not back off their position for this. Your vacation is as safe as if it was to Sweden.
