Hard to beat the San Juan islands off the coast of Washington for a romantic/secluded getaway. We went in July and it was awesome.

Sedona is amazing. Look at the Arabella or Kimpton Amara. I wouldn’t classify it as secluded, but it’s a good jumping off point to hiking, scenic drives, etc.
