I've searched but get general recs.

We're going for 4 nights for our 30th anniversary -- husband is a musician so we'd like to stay in the best place "music wise".

I've searched and found great reasonably priced air b&bs in Music City Loft BUT after reading here and people mentioning Music Row, I'm questioning our choice.

Help??

I don't know that property, but I will say the location allows for walking distance to many of the popular attractions, bars, restaurants etc. The Country Music Hall of Fame. The Ryman Auditorium. That'd be a big plus. "Music Row", if you're referring to the area around 16th and 17th Avenues, "Music Square", is the home to various recording studios, publishing houses and record labels. The famed Studio B. Not sure I'd want to stay in that area vs. downtown. It's a quick Uber ride over if you wanted to. Hearty people could actually walk that distance. Sober at least.

Thanks — someone actually mentioned the property in a thread somewhere here and they do look nice with great reviews .. and a great price. Just wanted confirmation that at least Broadway is a good choice. Touristy yes but well, that’s what we’ll be.

We’re trying to figure location and then hownto best “somewhat” plan 3 days. He’ll be guitar shopping for sure for a half day if not a full day. I may hit up Belle Meade that day. Can’t do all day in a guitar store. Been there done that.

There's a very vibrant bar scene near Vanderbilt off of 21st street FYI.

There are a gazillion reviews on Nashville on this site, but if you're looking for some specific recommendations (i.e. like restaurants etc.) let me know. Type. Price points etc. Choices abound near down town like around the Gulch, 12th Avenue, Germantown, or drive over to the trendy East Nashville area for many more.

There's so much to do here. If you like outdoor stuff, like hiking, Radnor Lake and the Warner Park systems are very close. Historical sites abound to like Ft. Negley.

We love going to Music City Winery.

Driving a half hour or so south to Franklin is worth a day. Old town with lots to see and do, plus some great restaurants and bars. The Red Pony is opening back up after their fire!

I alway stay in the Gulch. More bang for you buck and more condos as opposed to ridiculously priced hotels. And I like the vibe better

A ton of hotels around Broadway. The Gulch is right there as well.

If your husband is all about country cover bands, then Broadway is your choice. You're going to have to leave Broadway to find original music. Look up the Nashville Scene music calendar. Broadway is like Bourbon Street and Beale Street in that it appeals to tourists who want to get drunk and listen to the same music at every bar. The only difference between them are the open container laws.

The Hilton downtown is really nicely located but I also like to stay at the Hampton on 4th street bc it is right across the street from Printers Alley ( good music ) and a short walk to Broadway

Agreed. Watch out for the drunk Bachelorettes! Broadway is fun for a bit earlier in the evening before it's nothing but trashy drunks.

Check out 3rd and Lindsley for music. They have a lot of great songwriters.

FYI, just got an email for "Valentines Day Restaurants", so certainly they'd fall in the anniversary category. I've been to a number of these and can attest they'd be great choice. My son has a friend that's one of the head chefs at Bourbon Steak.

Most of these are "special occasion" type places.

We are headed there in March. Flying in and then going to Bourbon country for few days. Will come back to Nashville on a Sunday and be staying near the Ryman because we are going to a show there. Will just be staying one night in Nashville.
