I was looking to get a Limo Van for an LSU game. Pick up and return to New Orleans. First quote I got was $2,100. So I am going to keep looking.

Has anyone done this and can recommend a company?

It is not me that is paying but $2,200. SUV was $800. Just 4 of us too. I offered to drive my car but he declined. Must not trust my driving or hates my ride.

First quote was $2100 and you went with the second for $2200? What are we missing here?

Yes I am a shred negotiator. We added an earlier pick up time which is why the 2nd quote was higher.

I have not rented a limo since college, but how many freaking hours are you using it? Is it not usually like $500 plus $100/ hour after the first 4? Its what 2 hour drive, 2 hour tailgate, 4 hours game, and 2 hours back for 10 hours? I have no idea, that price just seems way high for a daily limo rental.

It would be nice if there were actually some legit transportation services for NO to BR on LSU gamedays. You think there would be more of a market for that.

It seems very high. They have a 10 hour minimum for the transport. I called around to other places for a LimoVan and several others were already booked and their prices were just a tad cheaper at $1800. The other places I called knew about the Georgia game and were mostly booked. Seems like a good business.

Yeah they probably know what's up.

If I owned a limo/ party bus business in NOLA I'd be advertising game day deals for sure. Your quote is likely just the going rate.

What about that high speed rail option between NOLA and BR?

Why don’t you just uber black? I can’t imagine that would cost you more than $150 each way at most

Anyone remember the train from NOLA to Tiger Stadium? When did it end? Why did it end?

Any conversation about restarting it? Less cars on campus and less cars on I10.

Which game are you looking for? I'm looking to do the same thing for the Georgia game for six people.

Yes, I mentioned it but he wanted a Limo Van so we could "stretch out." Wasn't going to agree since I wasn't paying.

LSU Georgia. I may have mentioned it but I did some quotes for $800 for a Lincoln Navigator.

I just got a homeboy hookup on a big bus for $700 for the full day. The normal rates are much higher, but the guy who owns it is my boss' father-in-law.
