Going to Lake Charles for two nights. Not into gambling so which one do you recommend for dining and other entertainment?

Thanks

Nugget. And you can literally walk to L’Auberge from there.

That's kind of a weird, I have so much money I take trips to places that are designed for one thing and I don't even do that thing, flex but ok.

I mean, I stay at one of those if I have to travel to Lake Charles for work because they are typically the most economical options and every other option pretty much sucks regardless. I have no interest in gambling.

Is the OP taking a pleasure trip (he didn't say)? To Lake Charles right now?

I stayed at L'Auberge monday night.

The TV didn't work in my room.
Shampoo bottle and Body Wash was empty.
I ate at the sports bar restaurant and it was sad looking.

Next time I go to Nugget.

I don't gamble, but have made a few trips in the summer just for the pool area atmosphere.

FWIW, the pool at L'auberge in Baton Rouge was tiny and disgusting. Cloudy water with an oily film floating on top.

His picture doesn't show the lazy river which lauberge has but the nugget doesn't. Regardless the nugget is still better. Don't eat at either casino. Go downtown to Luna's or go to Darryls

Golden Nuggett in LC pool closed at 6PM and opened at 11am so we never got to use the facility. Walls are thin so you may get a floor show during the night.

The Nugget does have a lazy river and a water slide.
