Key Largo and Key West suggestions?

Going to Key Largo with my wife and 2 kids (5 and 6 yrs old) tomorrow and will be in the Keys until Tuesday. We'll be staying in a beach house Wed-Sun and will head to Key West for a night on Sunday night. We'll work our way back to FLL and spend the night close to the airport Monday night before flying back in the morning.
It's going to be a pretty chill trip, but are there any suggestions for things to check out while we're down there? Fun stuff to do with kids in Key West for a day?

Download the gypsy app and listen to it as you drive the highway.

The kids might like the butterfly conservatory to see all of the butterflies flying around.
Take a Conch Train tour to see the highlights of the island without making little legs do a lot of walking.
Also maybe climb the lighthouse (less than 100 steps) for a view of the island.

The turtle hospital on Marathon is a good kid activity. About an hour long educational tour and they’ll get to see sea turtles of all shapes and sizes.

Take them to the Mel Fisher treasure museum and/or the Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center. Fort Zach Taylor State Park is also a nice area for families, can walk around the fort and then chill on the beach. They have a decent little cafe on the beach there for a quick bite/drinks.

Feed the tarpon at Robbie’s.

Key West for a night
I enjoyed the Mel Fisher museum and the butterfly house was ok but they did not have a lot of varieties. They have some small birds and a couple of flamingos too. Kids would like it I would think - it’s a small space and you can get a close look.

Yes, this will be great. However, do not eat the food at Robbie's no matter how hungry you may be.

Sorry, all of those were Key West.
Only things I know/knew about Key Largo were the actual boat from the Bogart movie African Queen is there, and Captain Slate's Atlantis Dive Center had some great dive trips (but he now sails out of Tavernier).

That does look cool. Less than 20 minutes from our place in Largo. I think my 5yo daughter would love the painting with dolphins
The turtle hospital looks like a good spot to stop on the way back from KW

I was coming to suggest feeding the tarpon at Robbies, that was pretty cool.
Also, go to Big Pine Key and see if you can find the Key Deer. Turn down Key Deer Blvd and look for them as you drive all the way down, turn in to those neighborhoods that are at the end of the street as well. We found a few that would let us stand right next to them but not touch them. They're fairly protective of them so mind the speed limit as they don't want people hitting them with cars and run radar back there.
