Refundable, but my company has approved the travel credit if it comes to that.

That's great

Since my original Delta flight connects through ATL, I’m actually wondering if I should cancel the Delta flight even if departure is on time. Worried about getting stuck in ATL

Keep it for now because if they do end up cancelling either flight you can get a full refund not just a credit

Cuse,

Have a long weekend planned for Key West (leaving out Friday returning Monday...departing LFT on DL 5526 through ATL, then ATL to EYW DL 2168

Looks like Delta cancelled both of those daily flights today.....limited options out of LFT

Thoughts?

I’m wondering if it makes sense to try to stay a little longer while things get sorted out but I also don’t know how to get in touch with delta if their communications systems are overloaded.

Well this didn't age well at all.

Amazingly enough her flight took off on time today. Three gate changes but it did go as scheduled.

I'd hope by Friday this mess is settled. They're only at 471 cancellations today compared to the several thousand the last few days. Stick with it for now

I see delta updated their waiver through Thursday (I think it ends 7/28). Do you want to spend more time in Spain? Because now is the chance to rebook for a few days later. Try rebooking on the app and see what options it makes available. With this waiver, you're free to change to any flights you want on the way back!

Maybe things are finally improving...? Let's add some thunderstorms into the mix and see how things really play out

Since the departing flight is a mid morning flight, I wonder if it might make sense to rebook via app using the waiver to book the first flight out of lft... Instead of waiting until things get moving during the day? Already considering just packing in a backpack rather than checking a bag.... This did had mee anxious....

I've been told to always book the first flight of the day especially during weather events. That gives you the entire day to get to your destination. Say they cancel Atlanta to key West, then you know you could fly to Miami and drive

Can you do a small carryon? One that will fit overhead on a CRJ900?

To be fair, UA and AA did get everything squared away; only Delta did not.

Had a non-stop flight from ATL to PVD today. On the way to to ATL I noticed on my Delta app they changed it to tomorrow thru LGA. No notification. Such a cluster

That sounds bad, sorry you got stuck in this. You on the 8:30am or the 9:30am to LGA?

There's 1 seat on the 8:30am into Hartford CT if that's better timing for you?

Glad I booked a backup

We all made it home today. We had a group of 15 flying into MSY through Atlanta and the Atlanta leg we had 3 different MSY flights scheduled to get home, I was nervous when we started getting delayed but all the planes got off the ground and into MSY around an hour late.

We flew out of concourse F and I didn’t see a lot of people waiting around or in lines trying to get rerouted so perhaps Delta is getting its feet under them

Had a meeting scheduled first thing this morning, so any departure today wasn’t going to work. Need to fly in last night.

Sorry they screwed up your plans, at least you could get a refund.

Looks like things are slowing down on the cancellation side finally, down to 47 cancellations today
