On the last DL flight out of BTR today. They oversold and started off by offering $1k for anyone to get off the flight.

Scheduled to fly out of MSY to Vegas Wednesday evening for the LSU UCLA game. I’m worried the flight will be canceled….cuse, thoughts?

So far so good, AA hasn't cancelled anything into JAN yet. You may run into ell in Jackson from the previous page

Eta:Have them rebook you on delta for free. If they won't do it, just take the refund and buy a one-way on delta for $148. Flight leaves at 8am, there's a ton of options for cheap and you should get back. United cancelled everything to the gulf coast, AA and Delta look like they're going to try
Eta 2: Category 4 hurricane as of current at 2am CT, not sure you truly want to head down that way. Do you have a place to stay in Charleston?

We cut our losses and bought one way back on delta Sat afternoon so made it back already. Glad we did since United cancelled. Thanks for looking out.

Can someone give me some advice ? I have a flight on Friday the 1st from Nola to Costa Rica with a stopover in Houston on United. If the flight is canceled or I can’t get to MSY will United let me get a flight from an alternate airport? Or could I just drive to Houston and catch the flight from there ?

Get on the phone with United and they will give you your options.

I'd wait to call until we know how bad the damage is. They should be willing to rebook, but may not do it now since it still hasn't passed

Yes, but you need to let them know if that's what you end up doing or else they'll cancel your whole reservation if you don't take the MSY-IAH flight.
Hopefully we know more by tonight how MSY holds up

2:30 flight from dfw-Jan cancelled. I bailed on the 5:30 flight and am renting a car. I sure hope at this point I gambled correctly.
