I usually park at BTR, but we are going away for a couple weeks.

How hard is it to get an Uber or Lyft to BTR at 4am from SE EBR?

I’ve never had an issue. Just schedule your pickup the night before and you will be fine.

I tried this once. 4AM pickup. They never showed. Wouldn't count on it!

That’s really unfortunate. I guess you always need a Plan B and maybe build in some extra time in case of a no-show, but I’ve never had that bad luck (so far)

I’d give myself 15 minutes extra and if they don’t show, drive it.

I think I’m on your flight. I’m leaving my house in mid city at 5

That's too early. When my car has been in the shop and I've needed rides at 5:15 AM from SE Baton Rouge, I've had extreme difficulty. At least one of Uber/Lyft isn't even "available" for use at 4am (I don't remember which).

This. You definitely have to schedule it. And I would schedule it at least a day or 2 ahead of time - not 10pm the night before.

gf used to live in metairie and we'd schedule an uber for pickup the night before to go to msy regularly. it was normally an elderly retired man just ubering for something to do and they were always the most pleasant uber rides talking about travel. never had any issues
