Anybody have any recommendations on a reasonably priced hotel in Houston?

Define reasonably priced and what are you trying to do while in town?

Wife and I just doing a quick 2 night weekend trip. We did it last year and stayed downtown. Just going out to eat and drink nothing special.

Courtyard Heights. Location is highlight. You can walk to dinner and a drink. It would be a good change from downtown

Don’t stay in the Galleria. Hotel Zaza near Rice.

This is a great choice for something different from downtown.

Le Meridien is my favorite downtown. Lots of folks love the Marriot with the lazy river on the roof by the convention center but that's more if you have kids with you.

I'm split between downtown and Galleria. There are lots of good restaurants between the two points and downtown is really sleepy after fivepm.

Houston, geographically speaking, is fricking huge. You may want to narrow down the area a bit, your purpose in traveling there, etc.

Appreciate the replies, we booked a stay at the Hotel ICON Autograph Collection by Marriott. Looks decent, guess we will see.
