Has anyone stayed at Paris or Resort World in Vegas

Working on putting together a bachelor party for a friend later this year, 8-10 guys.
I've been to Vegas 7-8 times and every time I've stayed at Caesar's or the Wynn. Caesar's is a little pricey when we are thinking of going (although not insane).
I was looking at these two as alternatives if the other guys need a lower price. Both are almost half the price of Caesars.
Resort World seems pretty far down the strip and not convenient, but it does look very nice.
I've walked through Paris a few times but never thought about staying there.
Bachelor also likes to Sports gamble a decent amount, so a good sportsbook would be nice.
Thoughts?

Paris is very nice and location of property is great. Three weeks ago my wife and I stayed at Mandalay Bay. It was nicer than Paris but not enough to recommend it over Paris because it is a long way from most of the Strip while Paris is right in the middle of it.

I've stayed at Paris before. It's nice. It's got a different vibe than Caesars, obviously. But it's nicer than Harrahs or the Flamingo and pretty much center strip. Like the OP, I've been to Vegas a lot and my answer will always be to stay near center Strip. Also, I have not seen good reviews for Resort World. I will go in it to see what it's like, but I wouldn't stay there. I've seen people say some of the restaurants are good, but nothing good about the casino.

Paris is nice enough and location can't be beat, which is most important part especially trying to get around with 10 drunks.

Circa is amazing. The rooftop sports bar and pool is just incredible. That being said, It is NOT close to the strip. I would definitely go check it out.
My only advice is make sure everyone is down to do the pool parties with bottle service. Its expensive but its where you'll see all the talent in the world. Go to whatever is the "big one" right now. Wet Republic, Rehab, And whatever its called at Cosmo are all great. Im sure theres something newer and popular as we speak.
Theme rooms at Planet Hollywood are fun/affordable for bachelor parties. They can be multiple levels and have dancing areas, exercise poles, and sometimes see through showers. If you go to a high end resort, you'll be surrounded by rich people that don't speak english.
Aria-kind of boring. Will not go back.
Encore- better than Aria
Venetian- massive, tons of people. gets too crowded at night. Not very "young"
Bellagio - Rich people
Hollywood- younger crowd and affordable
Cosmopolitan - Used to be my fav. Great younger vibe, but recently sold to another company so who knows?
Caesars - never stayed

I've been inside most of the hotels, I had just never spent much time at Paris, and Resort World is new.
I love Caesars. Its massive has so much to do and so many restaurants, good sportsbook, good poker room, great pool area, great buffet.
And possibly the best most central location, which is why I was looking at Paris which is very close.

It's on Fremont street, but Circa has a great sportsbook. I haven't been to Paris in a while but I don't remember them have a big sportsbook. It is a across the street from Ceasar's and they have a great book.

Cosmo was recently acquired by MGM, but you can’t tell any changes… yet.

Yes it is. Cosmo definitely has the best looking women of any vegas hotel

Id stay somewhere cheap like harrahs before id stay all the way down the strip at resorts world. Unless you dont plan on leaving the resort.

Resorts World is awesome. Everything is new and the pools are nice. Haven’t tried any of the nice restaurants yet.

You paint a wall and it is still a wall. Remember that with Vegas.
More than likely you will only sleep and shower in that room so why put extra funds on the vanity. Paris is just fine and will take care of you but staying mid-strip is the most important part. It makes the strip more accessible by foot. Behind the Paris is a monorail station that you can also utilize

This. It's a bachelor party. As long as it's clean, who cares?

I stayed at Paris last month. It was my first time in Vegas. The place was very clean and the restaurants were pretty good. There was a lot to do downstairs in the lobby and like others have said here, you’re basically in the middle of the strip.
It’s a bit of a mixed crowd. I’m 26, and I found a good bit of people my age.
I’d recommend for sure.

Awesome. I'm a big time Caesar's proponent just because I think its perfect for the first time Vegas experience, and its got everything.
But I may push for Paris. Every guy can have their own room for the same cost as it would to put two guys in a room at Caesar's or Cosmo.

Stayed at Paris in March. Location is second to none. Mon ami gabi is a great restaurant there. Cool beer garden on the rooftop there too.

I find it important in Vegas. You're actually going to spend most of your time wherever you're staying on this kind of trip. All of the hotels are super spread out so people naturally gravitate towards where they are staying. The poker rooms there, the sportsbook, the breakfast place, the buffet etc. It just is like that.

This has got to be pretty new too right? Damn. Incredible sportsbook and pool. Wish it wasn't downtown.

Derek Stevens is doing great things in downtown Vegas.
