Gulf shores or destin for the weekend?

Beaches shouldn't be crowded at all in either place. Also the Destin Fishing Rodeo is going on all month so they have weigh ins every day from 10am-7pm at AJs down on the harbor. There's no admission charge so take the wife and kids down there and hopefully y'all luck out and see some big fish. They've recently adding parking on the north side of 98 across from AJs and added traffic lights specifically for pedestrian traffic to get across 98. Use those if you are getting there in the afternoon time, if not you should fine parking down by the boat house bar. The weather forecast looks fantastic

Take I10 of course to exit 31 in Florida which is Hwy 87 down to Navarre and then east on 98 for the scenic route to Destin (no tolls this way)

Have fun, October is a great month to be around Destin. Also, eat lunch at Dewey Destins on the Bay side
