I've been waiting since late May.

I mean, it does take awhile (my application took 4-6 weeks before I was conditionally approved) but that amount of time seems inordinate. Is it possible that you got lost in the shuffle? Maybe you could re-submit the application? I'm not sure how it works.

I do know that I was conditionally approved back in June and there were no dates available for an interview until September...so be prepared to wait a little more once you're approved.

Wild. I applied for my infant son and he was conditionally approved in less than a week late last month.

Y'all got too much baggage

Finally conditionally approved.

113 days.

Of course now there are not appointments available at all for DFW lol. Even in 2020.

ETA: I just filtered and it only shows 4 locations that have appointments? I guess I just go the route of just showing up and hoping it doesn't take long?

For those wondering about long application times, I just clicked on their website to update passport information and the had this alert - copy and paste...

“The extended partial government shutdown has resulted in a substantial backlog of CBP's Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) applications and renewals.
Applicants for Global Entry (GE), SENTRI, NEXUS and FAST should expect significant delays in application processing times and limited appointment availability at TTP enrollment centers.
Conditionally approved GE members should seek to complete their GE interviews without an appointment upon arrival from an international flight at any of the 49 airports participating in CBP's Enrollment on Arrival (EoA) program.”

Just FYI

My wife & I did the Global Entry interview when we returned from Europe in June. We went through the regular custom line and told the agent we wanted to do the interview.
They sent us to another agent. There was one person ahead of us; we had to wait about 10 minutes. The “interview” took 10-15 minutes but it was mostly getting our pictures taken, fingerprinted and listening to explanations of how GE works.
He asked us where we went and how was the trip? Not really an interview.

They did only have one agent working and if there had been more people doing GE it would have taken longer.
The interview on reentry was a simple process for us.

Well, if conditionally approved you can input your number and then meet with someone from Global Entry when you arrive without an appointment. Issue would only be if they have multiple people with appointments. I was the only one when I walked into JFK without one.

Input my number where? Upon arrival back into the country?

So no precheck until then.

I live in Houston area and same thing here... I could drive to Laredo or Eagle Pass for an appointment the next day, but I checked later and found one at Bush Airport on the 27th. I don't leave for Australia until Nov 4.

Ah yeah, sorry didn't even see where you said you had booked. Someone told me that if you get conditionally approved you can put your global entry number in when you book and then just do the interview.

I can probably add it when I check my bag in. Feel like I've seen people do that before.
