Anyone ever flown?
I'm flying with them to Taiwan.
Looks outstanding.
Pretty female flight attendants.
Almost certainly no DEI pilots to worry about.
Are Asian and middle Eastern airlines far superior to American, United, etc?

I've flown Qatar Airways, very beautiful Asian Stewardesses who care about service and have a great attitude.

The only thing I know about them is they have a very subpar safety record and most planes are in need of some major repair(s). However, what do I know - I’m only in the aviation industry.

Not if you watch Air Disasters, seems like every other show is an Asian airline.

Lol Eva Air has never had a fatal accident or aircraft loss in its 32 year history. They are in the top 10 of the world's safest airlines.

Flew them to Singapore once because my aunt won a flight on there and asked if I wanted it. Pretty good airline overall. Noticed the leg room seemed to be bigger than on competing airlines.

FYL.
You're already booked. Are you going to do anything based on feedback? Most fingers point to no.
You can fly any airlines on 6+ different planes on international flights. Are you flying an A350 or an A330? We don't know. There are multiple seating configurations for each airframe within individual airlines.
Just to F with you, I'll give you the consultant answer. "It depends."

You'll probably be fine. Unless there's a problem in flight, then your shitty Asian pilots won't have a damn clue how to deal with it.

They're not KAL pilots from back in the day. It's not a regional Indian airline flying into Kathmandu.
The pilots will be fine.

Most pilots from anywhere outside of America, Canada, Europe and South Africa suck.

I'm pretty sure pilots from Singapore Airlines, Qatar, Emirates and Cathay Pacific are just fine. Because those airlines blow the doors of every US carrier.

Disagree. Does it make me feel better to hear a Lufthansa pilot give me an announcement? Sometimes. Zee German makes you feel better.
Non US airlines are far worse about announcing turbulence. And it sucks goat nuts to be on a LH 7478 over a completely lightless continent and the pilot says nothing when you're getting rocked.
LOT sucks too. UA can tell me to hold on to my arse for 18 minutes after takeoff on a domestic flight, and foreign airlines are like, meh, we'll seat the flight attendants, we won't tell you for how long, etc.

EVA air is part of the Evergreen group. Like any major international Asian airline they have a handful of western pilots, but most likely you’ll have Taiwanese pilots.
Their service is better than the US airlines but not as good as Qatar, eithad, emirates, Singapore, etc.

Star Alliance standards for pilots, at least.
I found Singapore disappointing compared to Turkish on similar transcon routes.
The middle east airlines, and I'm well aware lot of people don't care, will restrict the hell out of what you can see on IFE. Blur out a Kippa in a movie, go ahead Etihad. Importantly, your movie selection will probably not include anything remotely offensive. Like Gal Godot.

For international flights I always try to go with non-American airlines or Star Alliance (partner airlines are just as shitty as the American ones).
The American Airlines are terrible experience, service, food, and also the passengers are shite.
My favorite airline is Austrian airlines to fly to Europe.
Also, fun fact a transatlantic flight is cheaper on same carriers if it originates in Europe rather than the US.

Yep, flown EVA a few times from IAH to Tapei Taiwan then eventually over to Philippines. A few times in economy, once in premium economy and once in business / first. I've doe the route twice coming back from TPE to LAX.
The staff is incredible, even in economy the food is really good. They'll have alot of movies but alot are asian so make sure you have some downloaded on your phone as well.
Yes, no question
