Driving from Louisiana to...

Anyone ever drove from Louisiana to Tennessee? Have an old school Camaro that I want to take on a road trip and trying to figure out where. Thinking about Pigeon Forge.
What do you all think? Any recommendations on where to stop along the way? Or the best route?

Op, lots of us have driven up that way. It’s an easy drive.
Heard some of the old timers talking a while back about there being a great car show in that area once or twice a year

Drive up I-55 is boring and feels much longer than it is. The Road is usually empty except for local cops running speed traps.
I-59 to Chattanooga is far more scenic, but also involves dealing with the PITA that is Birmingham traffic.
I love driving through Appalachia, but getting there from Louisiana feels like it takes forever.

Not the most direct route but the Natchez Trace Parkway in MS, AL, & TN is probably the most scenic drive. Very little traffic, lots of historic spots, scenic overlooks, sights of interest, and rest areas along the way.
