The key is getting there early & riding the more popular rides early before the lines back up. All of the parks basically open an hour before the posted time so you can ride 3-4 rides of your choice with little to no wait.

This is def true...is a park advertises being opened at 9, it really opens at 8 BUT unlike pre-covid the parking lot only opens an hour before the park opens so if you want to get to a park really early to ensure you're one of the first few in, you need to be crafty is where and when to take an Uber since they won't be able to get into the parking lot to drop you off until basically when the park starts letting guests in.

Early is definitely a good strategy but can be hard day after day and I think people can have alot of success as well showing up later on some days and staying until park close esepcially if you have a trip long enough where you can hit each park more than once, it's good to mix it up.

Regardless of park, regardless of day what I have seen to be consistent is that rope drops are still crazy, mid-morning to afternoons are the busiest and walking around the last two hours won't exactly yield walk-on standby times but it is the most calm and least crowded the park feels all day.

Here now. Not bad. No shows. Lines look longer than they are and are almost always less than wait times.
Did flight of passage three times in a day for instance.

The masks are annoying but you sort of get used to it.

Still I would only go now if you go a lot. It would suck for this to be your first trip

I've noticed a lot more VIP guides since no fast pass.
I could have gotten a disability pass. I was ordered to use a scooter by my doctor as I had a bad MCL sprain a few days before leaving. I walked 14 miles with a cane and brace on Monday, 10 miles with no cane on Tuesday and am now switching to a sleeve. I feel that if I relaxed and rode a scooter my knee would still be painful to move. Now it's almost 100%.

With the cane they were asking if I wanted the pass. But I'm weird about not thinking people should take advantage of those things and I detest most people in scooters as just lazy.

The Disney store in Metairie had the "New Fabric" Disney masks for $6.99 and when I heard they went up to $9.99 here I stocked up. I find them the most comfortable out of any mask I have ever worn. They're big enough to cover my nose and mouth comfortably but don't fall down when I talk.

Disney Springs tonight, golf in the morning then close out the trip in Magic Kingdom tomorrow.

Excited to see "fireworks" brought back but when I heard they started testing last week, this was my hope.

I bought one yesterday because of baby yoda, it is super comfortable I'll buy another tomorrow at mk. Better than the mask I wear daily. Not bad for $9.

I too am closing out our trip in MK tomorrow. Taking off today to do a relaxed pool day.

The weather has been nearly perfect.

Be prepared, MK is by far the busiest park with the longest wait times. We went on Tuesday and almost everything was at an hour or a little longer. I’d go in with a plan of your must-dos and get them done early or save a couple for close to closing when the crowd lightens up. We come back in February and plan on skipping MK completely, but we don’t have kids and come multiple times a year. We will wait until they bring fastpass back.

My biggest gripe this trip has been some really horrible and truly uncharacteristic customer service. Whoever they have working, they are not the same people as before all of this.

Just got back and we were talking about how many of the cast members did not seem like regular disney people. Went for a quick trip with one day to AK, Epcot and MK each. We agreed MK was a mistake, Epcot was glorious..food and wine paired with short lines..basically walked onto Soarin twice

We just got back from 7 days there. I agree with everything just said. MK is usually my favorite and I hated it this time. Lines were too long, with the closed down shops, carts and eateries it funneled a lot of people in the same spaces and felt very crowded. Any cast member that wasn’t working for a tip was BAD, not the usual Disney employee. HS was packed but we had a great time there. A
This was our 11 trip and it was good, but, will wait until Disney is full staffed to go back. Side note- wearing a mask all the tike wasn’t that big of a deal.

I'd rather spend a week in Biloxi at the beach over Disney... to each his own though. Disney just seems horrible.. liberal AF, crowded, overpriced, obesity rampant, trashy ppl, cheesy. Not my cup of tea but it's your money and time, so you do you baw!!!!

I agree. We have taken the kids to disney a bunch and we have taken them camping on the beach, the mountains, and stayed in cheap beach motels....and all of the latter were more memorable than the Disney trips. My kids were more likely to enjoy a three day weekend with the camper and boat during spring crappie season than they would our spending a week and $10K minimum at Disney....but they did get to go to Disney several times so that may have been a factor...if it is a once in a lifetime event for them its probably different.

This is why I'm considering cancelling our next trip. Disney has always been one of the few places where you can see the employees truly love their job. The level of genuine service they provide is hard to find anywhere. It is one of the main reasons we always go back. If that is gone, no reason for us to go.

I used to own DVC at Bay Lake and Saratoga. I sold both over the last two years even though I have a young son who's now at the perfect age to go often and enjoy it all. We still still go and rent points to do it, but the trips are going to be spread out further: 4-5 years instead of every year or every other year. Just not worth it anymore. Which makes me sad to say because I have great memories there.

According to Amanda McKenzie of FOX 35 Orlando, Disney Springs reached capacity shortly after 6:00 PM this evening. Parking garages are closed. The closure resulted in a traffic jam on Buena Vista Drive.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Didn’t Start Boarding Until 4:19 PM on its 1st Birthday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

You could say that Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance certainly rose… and resisted boarding today, the day of its one-year anniversary at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The ambitious attraction once again failed to open with the rest of the park after a year of technical issues, non-functioning audio-animatronics, and even a lightning bolt (sent by Darth Sidious, probably) which took the attraction down for a number of days.

I’m in Orlando now. Basically a repeat of what everyone has said.

Magic Kingdom - no characters, very crowded, mask nazis, and half the restaurants are closed and the ones open have half the number of tables available. Wasn’t a great experience. Would avoid unless you have small kids and just want to go. Food situation was a disaster. Don’t wait until you are actually hungry to begin the process.

Epcot - nobody is here and wait times are about 30 minutes for the attractions. I haven’t made it to the world section yet.

Universal - crowded, but seemed to ne on top of their game. Much better organized as far as food. Rides were about 45 minutes. My first time there and was impressed.

Houses are dirt cheap to rent. Rented an 8 bedroom near the parks for about $200 a night. Yes, an 8 bedroom for $200. Had lots of options in this price range.
