What's OT baller have to do with anything? I'm questioning your decision making, not your budget. A 4k budget is enough money to do something that doesn't involve a man dressed up in a large mouse costume.

All 4 of us flew for under 1000

He only has two people.

You are making yourself look dumb in this thread saying he can't stay on property for 4K

Wait til you have kids. You are paying large sums to wait in line. Unless you have a Disney princess fetish I'd skip DW and head to the Caribbean.

I didn't say you couldn't. Sure have fun at the value resorts with 1000s of kids. To have a good room with flight and with park hoppers, 4K is not enough.

October before the wine and drink festival is nowhere near as crowded as summer, so no, you aren't paying to stand in line. Our longest line outside 7 dwarves was like 20-30 minutes.

Staying on property with 4 kids and my wife driving from BR to Orlando, our last disney trip for 13 days with a conference for cochlear implants was only $4,500. All of our meals were eaten on property or at the camp ground. We had park tickets for 7 of the 13 days. The other days we did everything from shopping to fishing to watching movies at the camp ground. Two adults could do a disney trip for $2500 easily and have a week of grand fun.

There's a line for everything. So yes, you are paying to stand in line.

You can argue about the length of the lines if you want.

I've probably been to Disney 20 times.

As I said, I would recommend waiting until one has kids.

"Since we don't have any kids and are basically free to travel anywhere, we were going to go to Machu Picchu, but we started thinking about how cool that movie Fantasia was and how cool it would be if that type of theme could be combined with roller-coasters and park food, so we decided to go to Disney World."

Max 4K will get you basically nothing special. You'll have to stay off property which means you have to pay for transportation to and from the parks.
