We did in October. Not sure the ages of your group but we wished we had just skipped disney altogether and spent more time at universal. Universal was way more lax on the masks.. you still had to wear it but people weren't harassing you nonstop if it slipped down below your nose. Also, disney wasn't doing fastpasses while we were there so it felt like we were basically in line all day to ride 7 or 8 rides.

We just paid the deposit for a Disney trip the last week of May... think they will still require masks then?
I’m waiting until our payoff date to make the decision

I have cancelled three Disney trips this far. One was in May of 20, another for July of 20 and another in October of 20. We are booked for May 2021 and if there is no fast pass or fireworks, we will cancel that one as well.

From what I have heard, the staff is rude, the restaurants limited and Epcot has no authentic workers.

Beginning in January Disney will open the park hopper option again so this should make things easier and overall a better experience. It's still pretty crowded now but after the holidays you may get to enjoy it better with the current covid stuff still in place for safety.

Wife (no pics) and I went first week of November. Supposed to be reduced crowds (25%?) Did not feel that way some of the time. Wearing mask any time out of resort room got really tiring. Could remove mask for meals and a few "relaxation " areas in the parks.

Went to Disney for Thanksgiving. There was a strict mask policy. They cut down on the amount of people in the park, but it still felt like a ton of people. You can’t get pictures with the characters because they’re not wearing masks—they ride through the parks on parades or boats etc. At Epcot, a lot of the restaurants are closed (I’m guessing to cut down on worker exposure?).

It was still kind of fun—we had our 1 year old with us and she seemed to enjoy it even though she’ll remember nothing.

We just visited the second week of December and enjoyed it. Yea your gonna have to wear a mask everywhere on property and it will be aggravating at times, but being with one that little is still gonna be fun mask or no mask. Here’s what we found when we went.

Your first reaction to the lines and wait times is gonna shock you. Once you see how fast and constant they move, it’s not gonna bother you near as bad the rest of the trip. We were in line for frozen in China pavilion at a 75 minute posted time, and the cast member said don’t worry it’s not near as bad as it looks. I clocked it at 15 minutes from start to getting on the ride.

You need to make sure you have the mydisneyexperience app and get it ready to Mobile order your quick service food. Most of the big locations required you to order ahead and would not let you inside until your food was ready. Aggravating when you just want something fast but it was nice to just walk up, grab your food, and not fight to find an open table.

There was no park hopping when we went so the park you picked was it for the day. Before you book, I’d make sure the parks are not maxed out for those days.

Pick a resort with a sky liner stop if you can. Best way to travel by far to at least two of the parks and it was a ride in itself for the kids.

Bus riding has good and bad. Good part it sitting with your family and NOBODY on top of you or standing on you which is great. Downside is that the buses fill very quick with them doing it so wait can be a little higher.

Park is opening 30 minutes to an hour earlier than the posted park opening. Take advantage of that with the little one and knock out tons of big rides or just enjoy the park for a few hours with low crowds. It can pickup during mid day, but by then it will be good to head back and rest or nap. Head back later in the afternoon and finish up to closing with lower crowds.

Our kids are 6 and 3 so you can definitely manage it. Just make sure you bring that stroller or you will regret it.

Just an FYI...even with the Karens and all the wannabe uber-safe-do it by the book-just wear your mask damnit crowd running around Disney, a coworker just came back and was positive within a week of his return. That place is like a giant petri dish of Covid 19. And I'm sorry, but a mask isn't gonna do shite about it unless you wear full go into surgery PPE from head to toe.

Quick service restaurants at MK were a pain. Was weird without fast passes. MK seemed more crowded than the other parks, we went the weekend before Thanksgiving. Masks wasn't bad but not sure i could do masks outside during the summer.

It’s fine if you’re not a complainer. We went thanksgiving week. The masks just aren’t that big of a deal. The food is a little challenging if you’re trying to do a bunch of sit down meals. The staff is different because it’s a lot of temporary workers. No fast passes but the lines always move. Park hours are shorter so there are no late nights in the park.

With all of that said, just go. It’s fine. We have have a 2yr old so we strategically placed his nap and we were able to do everything we wanted to do with no problems. You can’t meet characters but you can still do a few character dining reservations and they do these small random character processions that are pretty informal so you can get kind of close. We had fun and would do it again with no qualms.

They are actually. It wasn’t the normal Disney magic. Every cast member is just staring at everyone making sure they have a mask on properly.

E oil my kids 2 and 5 in September and while the kids had a blast my wife and I left there saying we wouldn’t be back until mask and other COVID issues are lifted.

I want to go too - my youngest daughter is 5 - but I’m going to wait until the character dining is back bc I think she would enjoy that

Plus I don’t want to have to bail my husband out of jail when he punches someone who is reminding him about a mask

We were at Disney last week for Christmas and I can confirm pretty much all of this. We have two kids 5 and 4, and masks weren't an issue for them. We did get asked a few times to keep the mask above the nose of my 4 y/o, but that's it.

Lines weren't terrible. Longest and most consistent lines were for Star Wars in Hollywood Studios and Dwarves Mine Cart and Thunder Mountain in Magic Kingdom. Most lines you got through 10-15 mins quicker than the posted time. If you want to ride Rise of the Resistance, you better be ready to get into the Virtual Queue 5 mins before 7am or 1pm. It's worth it to ride, trust me it's amazing.

Ordering food was easy through the app and pickup was usually pretty quick. We would order from one side of the park, say that we are ready for them to prepare it, and by the time we were at the place it was ready.

We stayed off site and parked every day. I suggest Uber if you are not going with kids.

Disney does a great job keeping people separated on rides. We never felt too close to anyone unless people were just being rude and not abiding by social distancing guidelines.

If you have kids, bring a stroller, don't rent their sorry excuse for a stroller. Also, bring an extra suitcase for everything you will buy.

Was there 12/13-12/18. We had an awesome time, but it didn't feel the same obviously. Wait times were minimal for most rides, but the "big" rides could get up there. Rides like Seven Dwarves, Tower of Terror, Avatar rides, etc. There are no fast passes or park hopping. It's my understanding both of those will be back in 2021. Very few restaurants open - utilize the mobile ordering for food and lock in your time slot early.

We went July 14th - July 21st to both Universal parks, and Disney World (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom). It was absolutely great! No lines, walked on all rides and rode every ride several times.
Our good friends just returned yesterday from 5 days at Disney and said that each ride was at least an hour wait..... Park was at 35% capacity

We went during Thanksgiving.
They didn't have park hopping and only club 33 had access to fast pass.
But still it was mostly quick lines. We rode flight of passage twice in a day.
The masks were annoying but you forget about them after a while.

The new lining makes every line seem a lot longer then it is.

It was a nice escape. Though we got an Air Bnb off property and that was the way to go. No bus we just drove and parked. We ubered on property to springs. I think I'm done with on property after getting a three bedroom house with a pool for less than $100 a night
