Got guest passes for free so we booked a trip.

Any Must do's/dont's? Favorite quick bites to eat in the parks?

No reservations anywhere except one night. Keeping it laid back this trip.

Dole Whip
Flame Tree BBQ and the food in Animal Kingdom is some of the best at any of the parks

You may be out of luck for fast passes but my top rides by park:
Epcot - Soarin
Animal Kingdom - Avatar ride
I would say new Star Wars rides if you can even get in without a fastpass, new Toy Story slinky dog coaster
Magic Kingdom - Seven Dwards Mine Train

The new roller coasters are smooth rides nowadays.

Honestly don’t worry about fast passes till day of in your situation.

Each day just wake up and book the earliest thing you see you want to ride and take them one at a time. Rides always open up throughout the day and you’ll be able to do a lot. We were able to grabbed 7DMT three times same day last time at MK.

Backlot Express at Hollywood, Restaurantosaurus at Animal, and Satu'li canteen at Animal have free refills on drinks and food is pretty good too for a quick service. Blaze Pizza and the food trucks at Disney Springs are some of our favorites too.

There is a nice deli type restaurant to the right of the entrance to the Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios. Very small. Good sweets and big sandwiches.

Disney the week of Thanksgiving may be the worst time of the year to go. Probably the busiest week of the year

Also the most expensive time to go. That was our first trip and it cost roughly 3 times as much as any other trip to Disney.

It's really not that bad, we rode every ride in Hollywood studios before 1pm today, including Millennium Falcon and slinky dog, tower of terror and rocking roller coaster. Have to maximize magic hours and fast pass selections. Use single rider when av available and relax.

Similar experiences at Mk yesterday.

About to go back out, I've been getting mobbed over my baby Yoda shirt I had made. Had to keep stopping so people can take pictures. They are messing up by not having merch for him.

This is by far my cheapest Disney trip. Free dining and first time in a value resort, but seriously not worth the price for moderates if you're rarely in the room.

Difference between moderate and value is queen vs double beds, slide in pool, and sit down restaurants.

I prefer epcot deluxe which gives you walk in to epcot world Showcase and Hollywood Studios plus attraction level pools.

Thanksgiving day is actually not too bad because locals don't go to the parks. Thanksgiving Wednesday and friday are top 10 most crowded days for the whole year.

If you are there, I have found Animal Kingdom to not be too bad on crazy days. Also Epcot should not be too bad since it is under constuction now. MK and HS will have 15 min waits to pee tomorrow.

Been here since Saturday. People everywhere. Believe it or not if you go to Disney springs for dinner the bowling alley has good food. There is a restaurant there where I got a real good classic burger. The wife got a salad that she enjoyed.

I was in MK on Wednesday, rode everything but Seven Drawfs and Peter pan. Was crowded. Wound up on the island and hall of presidents and even went to room for break midday.

There smaller beds is my only real gripe. I rarely use the pools though when I go for food and wine I want a walking distance hotel.
Staying in Grand Destino on the bounceback trip.

I thought you could go to any pool if you’re registered in a Disney resort?

You have to scan your magic band and be staying at Yacht and Beach club to use stormalong Bay which is like a small waterpark.

I have never seen them check at other deluxe resorts.
