I have one and looking at Thanksgiving and Christmas and nothing is available. I feel I have tried every interesting city such as New York, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Charleston, Tampa, St. Louis, Boston, Portland, Seattle, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Nashville, Asheville, Raleigh, Savannah, Orlando, San Antonio, Austin, Phoenix, Salt Lake, Kansas City, Washington DC, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Portland Maine, Miami, and Indianapolis.

Would calling Delta and speaking with them be helpful? I'm tired of randomly searching cities to use this companion pass.

Can I sell it?

Yes, finding eligible seats during holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas can be difficult due to limited fare class space.

You can’t sell it. However you can give it to people. You can book their trip for them. If you want to charge them then so be it but it is tied to you so you have to use it.

I have two plus two more to use from folks over the next 4 months. Make sure you put flexible search on. Peak times are definitely harder.

I have flex search for the holidays and still struggling finding something to use it. I just need something for a couple of days even if it's new.

I am right there with you. Trying to burn one this month. Ultimately just having my wife come on a work trip. Don’t forget you can use it for Mexico, Canada, all the way down to Costa Rica.

Are you flying out of MSY?

Correct MSY, I want to use after my bonus hits in July but that may not work if I can't find anything for October, November, or December.

I can’t help you search because mine expires on 9/30. Anything after that date for me shows unavailable. Something seems off. Try this for me, can you confirm you can see one for MSY-ORD for 5/26-5/28. I am booking that and see plenty options. Then can you confirm the expiration date?

Little off topic but companion pass is only available after card anniversary correct? Have had Delta Platinum since September. wanted to use it for a wedding we are going to in Gatlinburg in September but I guess that won't be possible?

Not to hijack this thread but has anyone been successful in moving their expiration/renewal dates? Mine is early May so it doesn't workout for when I'm likely to use it.

Delta Companion Pass
About as useful as a dick at a roller derby.

Kidding, but only sort of. Man, they really limit the passes.

To answer the question above, I’ve never tried to move the deadline. Interested in answer to that as well.

HAHAHAHA NO!

Mine expires end of June. I wanted to fly out last week of June and return July 1. NOPE. Delta says not only NO but Hell NO.
