Colorado family trip

We are going on a family trip to Colorado. Will be driving a big loop to hit several places around the state. Starting and ending in Denver. My question is what’s the mask situation like in CO? I read that the statewide mandate was lifted. Are local towns and businesses following along? Or is everyone still wearing masks in some parts of the state?

I don't really get why everyone is so worried about having to wear a mask but there's no where I've been recently with more than 10% of people in one

I’m not “worried” about having to wear one. I wear one all day long in the hospital at work. I would rather just not have to think about it on vacation. It would be nice to know we were going somewhere where we won’t have to look and see if masks are required before we walk In the door.

I was just there. Didn't see any business outside of the airport and uber requiring a mask in Denver, Silverthorne, Steamboat, and Colorado Springs.

Just left, and only places strongly enforced were hotel lobbies.

I’m genuinely confused and amused by the downvotes. I am pretty ambivalent about masks. I don’t think they are doing much at this point, if they ever did. But it’s not the end of the world to wear one if needed. I would rather not, but no big deal either way.

No masks in Summit County , for the most part, since late May when the mandate lifted.

Probably because they don't do shite and are a major pain in the arse to wear.
Was up there a few weeks, from Denver to Co Springs, to Salida.....no masks. Just the airport which is ridiculous it's still required.

We did this back in late May... No masks mandated but some individual businesses required it. Carry enough for everyone just in case.

Glad to hear. I was in Summit and Eagle County in April and mask were everywhere. As were mask Nazi's.

Solid advice but I've been around Summit and Eagle in the last week and I've not been anywhere that was concerned with masks.
Plus, it's Colorado in summer. You're not going to be inside much and it will be little effort to find a place that doesn't require them if you happen to want to go in a business that does.
