A jacket.

I used to have an inflatable travel pillow that worked reasonably well and packed down to nothing.

None are amazing, but this one was pretty good for a trip to France last week.

Travel pillow

We're rolling with this one to Italy in two weeks. Great reviews. We'll see.

I'm going to agree here..the eye mask with that kit is great as well.

As far as neck pillows go, this is the best I have ever tried but it's bulky (which is why I like it so much) so its much more comfortable when your seat can recline.

None, I've never been able to find one that I could sleep with. Neck is always in an uncomfortable position

Ordered. I have a 9 hour flight, a 3 hr train and an 8 hr train and a 10 hr flight home, both flights direct thank god, coming up in June-July. Hopefully this will help.

Second the jacket or hoodie.
Pillow is just more junk to deal with.

IMO, that's way too bulky to have with you for a whole trip. Additionally, it assumes it's the correct size for everyone.

Instead, maybe try the inflatable ones that still have comfortable cloth surfaces. Less room and customizable.

I've also seen ads for one that is basically an eye mask with straps that somehow connect it to the headrest behind you so it holds your head up in place.

I just got back from two and a half weeks in Asia. Two of the legs were first class but the rest was economy (8 flights, 6 ferry rides and probably half a dozen van shuttles ranging from an hour to four hours) and found this pillow to work quite well in various environments. It folds up small to fit in the bag for travel so it was easy to clip on to a backpack using a small carabiner. Another feature I liked was that it fit differently depending what side I had on my shoulders and could flip it over for more or less side support.

Anything with Mrs Füt trans-Atlantic or Hawaii-ish:

I’ve never tried the neck pillow, I can sleep anywhere.
