Three couples looking to go to Cabo for a week, in October. To give you an idea, when we have done trips like this before, we stayed a block off Broadway, in Nashville, on Duval St in Key West and on Iberville, at the Courtyard Marriott, in NO.
We want to stay where, bats, restaurants and shops are in convenient walking distance. Any suggestions? Thanks

Near the marina.
If you are hanging around the marina doing touristy shite, you will get approached to see if you want party favors.

If you're going the house/villa route versus a hotel, look in the Pedregal neighborhood in town. New homes on the hill overlooking the marina with amazing views. Depending how far up the hill you are, you can walk to town. If you're higher up then you can hire a driver for the week to take you wherever you want.
The views of the marina, the harbor, and the surrounding mountains are unreal. And it's a very secure neighborhood.

Party favors are readily available from Cabo to San Jose and all points in between.
Allegedly.
For the record, the desire to do the bar and restaurant scene near the marina left me about 15 years ago. But it’s fun if that’s your thing.

I recommend the cape. Bad arse rooftop bar, great mix of people, and 10 min from the marina area (you may not even want to leave).

Check out Bahia Hotel and Beach house. It is located in town, walkable to the bars, restaurants, and clubs. If you get a little tipsy and don’t care to walk, Ubers are around $2usd all over down town. It is not located on the beach, but two blocks from Medano beach. It also has a beach club associated with it. Sur Beach house. You can walk there or they will take you in the golf cart. Great food and drinks with live music. Bahia has a great restaurant, Bar Esquina. They also have live music and really good food. Their coffee and smoothie bar in the morning is a great way to recharge after long nights. If you need any other reqs, just let me know!

Pedregal is the nicest place that's close to downtown.
