Six Flags
There’s a decent art museum
Walk along the riverwalk
If you have small kids or special needs kids, go to Morgan’s Wonderland
There’s a nice children’s museum
Stay in a hill country resort and hang out there

Do the river boat. It is somewhat entertaining for the adults and the kids will love it. When dine, go eat Mexican food on the Riverwalk. Good people watching. Go eat at Lulu's Bakery & Cafe for breakfast. They have a 3lb cinnamon roll that is damn good. Get there early to be the crowd, especially if in the weekend. Hit the Mexican market. If you have boys, get them wrestling masks.

I have a client I call on in the area where Six Flags is located. That area has developed really nicely in San Antonio.
