First mistake.

There are no places I'd go to for simply drinking. I can stay at home and do that. I do have friends that view vacation time as drinking from breakfast until bedtime trips though so I can understand where that line of thought comes from.

I enjoyed the pics. Especially the landscape and architecture.

I'm hesitant about international travel just because I don't speak any other languages and it's just less complicated traveling domestic.

The GF and I worked an agreement, from 7am to 5pm we did sight seeing, after 5pm we did pub crawls. So it worked out well for us.

Everywhere we went the people spoke English. I had an incident at a pub in Venice. The dude who owned it did not speak or understand English. However, he understood beer so we had a conversation of hand signals and bottle showing.
I did rent a car and driving wasn't an issue, but I did get two speeding tickets since I never knew how fast I was actually going.

I rented a car on Rhodes. Everyone was driving over the speed limit and I never really saw cops so I just opened that tin can up as fast as it would let me.

You would be surprised. The tourism industry is a money maker for many people across the world who would be destitute without it. This requires them to be very resourceful, and to learn English. Heck, my Cambodian guide knew Chinese phrases which was really impressive, and useful since they move in huge lawless packs every where they go.

Necessity is the mother of invention as they say. Same for language skills.

I was warned about the cameras by a co-worker who is from Belgium. I did not really think about it since the speedometer was in kilometers

I enjoyed the 100 kph making 60mph seem fast.

Speaking of that tin can. I've never seen such a Commie vehicle in my life. Literally metal and hard plastic, where you could see the actual painted metal frame all over the inside of the vehicle wherever hard plastic wasn't located somewhere. Vehicle must have cost like $5,000 tops.

Fixed....thanks for the heads up. Not sure why, but the "www.tigerdroppings.com" was replaced with "//" in every URL.

Although quite common destinations, I have tons of pictures from two separate trips to Italy I can share. Can also do a Philadelphia, PA and Jim Thorpe, PA pic/info write up. So what's best? New thread or just link imgur albums here? Also need to find time to put albums together.

This, please. Also it's best to post the pic if you can (embed in your post). It can be painstaking and cumbersome, so sometimes I will start it and just pasted into notepad so I don't lose it. But overall it benefits everybody here the most if you can post the photos here rather than just send us to another website.

Dublin, Ireland added...thanks to Lsupimp for the post.

I can't ever seem to avoid saying this funny (ineffective) pickup one-liner in my head when I read or hear about this town.

You must be Irish, because every time I see you my penis is Dublin.

Requesting sticky for Cuba.

LINK

It's on page two, but if it would be easier for me to start a new thread with that, I will. I just couldn't add that whole thing to my edit because of character limit.

Thanks

Edit for stupidity: Not asking for my thread to be stickied, asking for it to be added to this sticky **
