This probably should be #1.

Grand Isle should not be on this list. Maybe replace it with... IDK... St. Martinville?

Yeah.. Several times. When I was a kid we would go in the water.. Parents and their friends would do some crabbing.. But I wouldn't go in the water today.

Went out in Covington a few weeks back and the place was friggin on fire with single women partying like they have a weekend pass.

Started out with drinks at the Southern Hotel and it was packed. Then went to dinner down at small restaurant called Lola and had great meal.
Then went to Seiler Bar for some drinks.

Ended up back at Hotel courtyard to wrap it up.
Women literally everywhere. The hotel was like a milf convention.

Not sure what was going on but we had a great time.

Unless you need some legit smoked sausage. Teet's is a good reason to visit Flat Town, but it's not really in the city limits.

Agreed, but you can get to Chicot without actually driving through Ville Platte. Chicot belongs in a great state parks thread.

Looking to get away for a weekend? Sure, you could pack your bags and drive to the Gulf Coast for a beach vacation, but there are plenty of charming small towns in Louisiana that are ideal for a weekend of rest and relaxation.
