- Bull Shoals Lake - rent a pontoon boat (Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock and Marina Services). Find cliffs to jump off of. Explore the lake. Collect awesome driftwood to bring home (my favorite thing to do).

- Kayak the Buffalo River - Go to Buffalo River Outfitters or Buffalo Camping & Canoeing to rent. Both are great.

- Hiking in Ozark National Park - Download AllTrails App and find trails with waterfalls.

I have done all of these several times. You won't regret any of them.

Thinking of going to Petit Jean this weekend. I'm looking to go to a mountainous place within 5-6 hours of Natchez. Went to Mentone, Alabama last summer and it was awesome. Will be using a Casita travel trailer to camp. I'd like some hiking, nice views, and possibly a good restaurant/bar for a night (not a deal breaker).

Take a hike on Round Top Mountain just south of Jasper on Hwy. 7.
You will find the remains of B25 bomber that crashed on the mountain in 1948. There are a lot of remnants of the aircraft still on the mountain..

Also you will have 360 degree view of the surrounding countryside.

now is the time to hike the ozarks. Leaves are gone so the views are better, no ticks/chiggers, and the falls should all be running

I know there is a restraunt there at the lodge. It might serve alcohol but they close at 6pm. Morrilton has a liquor store.

The views are awesome in the state park. You can see for miles. You'll have a great time. Lake Bailey is right there with some great catfishing. My gf lives in Conway so we went fishing and tore them up. There was 7 people fishing around us and couldn't catch. We used dead minnows.

Plenty of hiking and there's a huge cave there too.

unless your only goal for the trip is outdoor stuff, don't plan your trip around Mena.

Maybe he wants to see where HW bush and Clinton smuggled tons of cocaine into and tried to train contra rebels

I hear West Memphis is a nice place

This guy knows! I stayed in Jasper recently and proposed on the goat trail at big bluff. Unbelievable. Was going to propose at Hawksbill Crag originally. Both were unbelievable.

Also did side by side rental at mulberry mountain and cruised the Ozarks for 7 hours.
Zip line tour was pretty cool as well.

Rent a place on Beaver Lake or Table Rock Lake and rent a pontoon.

We stayed on Beaver Lake a few years ago and it's a beautiful lake.
