Is that from today/last night? It's raining decently here but the weather on the mountains showed around 40 degrees

Looks like it's all from today. Deer Valley, PCM and Brighton are all posting about it.

I am so stoked to ski again, these pics are really ramping it up. Less than three months and I will be in Banff.

Got some 40% off Smith Codes that today is the last day on. Should be good for everything on their site that’s not on sale. Each code is only good once.

Doing my normal day trips to Keystone/Vail/The Beav/Late season Breck.
Will do a couple weekends probably at Vail/Beav
CB in March for Spring Break.
Heavenly/Northstar/Sugar Bowl at some point if the stars align.
21 days last year, going for 25+ this year.

First trip to Vail this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what all of the hype is about. Any recommendations or places to visit?
Will also be making the annual weekend trip to Purgatory in early January. I like to do this trip first to knock the rust off. First year with the step-in snowboard boots so that will be nice to get used to them before hitting the big mountains.

I've been to Vail a few times, ate at El Segundo on my most recent trip and got a massive burrito that was delicious. I ate a BBQ place the other time, liked it but I don't think it is even open anymore. Also ate at the Red Lion which was kind of just a dive/sports bar.
The mountain is great, it is probably my favorite of the Vail owned mountains. Back bowls live up to their rep, still want to ski them on a powder day. Only powder day I had was early season which was also kind of fun since the crowds were small but skiing was only open on the frontside.

Looks like we are finally getting a pattern shift and a bit of snow to most mountains. Bulk of it still mainly north but it will be cold enough to make some snow at least.

Thursday night/Friday morning looks to be pretty good for Utah. I thought I might even get some snow at my house, but now it just seems to be really cold rain.
Excited though, it's been too hot last couple weeks.

Any recommendations for fun things to do in the evenings after skiing deer valley with a 9 year old? Looking at maybe the ice castle in Midway.
Also, any thoughts on renting a car? Looks like I would need one if we do the ice castle. Our flight home departs at 6am, so might be better to have a car instead of relying on a shuttle? Appreciate any input

Snowbird sure looks good right now, looks like they got dumped on
Snowbird cams
About to start picking up leg days 2x/week. Pickleball and tennis are pretty good cardio and leg days, but need some strength/lunges in preparation for skiing.

La Niña winter forecast bodes well for the Pacific Northwest to stack it this season.
Seven Peaks area, including but not limited to Mt Bacehlor, got a few this past week.

Yes, rent one. Ive always rented a car in Park City. Youll prefer to have one for options.
You thinking about tubing for the little one? You have a decent option af Woodward off of 80.

We love tubing. Was looking at Woodward tubing website…almost $200 for the two of us. I don’t mind spending money, but that seems nuts for tubing
