On my way to Winter Park for a long weekend of skiing. Well see how this storm shakes out, could be really good.

Eldora might be the move especially for Sunday TBH if you are coming up from Denver. Just have to see what the Euro and GFS output on friday afternoon to get a better idea.

Slush

went to bogus basin yesterday and the morning started fine, soft snow. great for making me feel like I was doing perfectly-carved turns.

then it turned into slush moguls.

came home and rode my bike instead. hoping for some snow this weekend, have had record highs the last few days in boise.

Same here.

Crazy that a little over two weeks ago we drove from Seattle through Idaho over nine hours of completely frozen highway.

I head out Saturday for big sky. Weather has been terrible there lately, but hoping for some fresh stuff Saturday and Sunday.

Ok, I am going to sneak over to Copper then tomorrow.

Winter Park was a solid today, lots of sun which helped to soften things up. Had some really fast groomers laps early over in Vasquez territory. Made my back over to Mary Jane for some bowl laps and bumps. Really laid back day of skiing with minimal to zero lift lines.

Looks like 8 inches or so for the weekend which should at least refresh things but also cover up some sharks. I have heard that the tram is skiing well even with the low tide season.

Can you make sense of the GFS and the Euro for us? GFS had 15 inches for downtown Denver and Euro had 4. Don’t recall ever seeing a difference like this this close to the storm.

Leaving here in about 20 minutes, I probably won't get to Copper until 915-930.
