White and Spiro both make that route. They'll change up the routes in winter to add more busses along there too for the higher traffic.

The White route doesnt list a stop there so thats why I thought I'd have to switch busses to Spiro. Not sure if thats just for summer or a new change.

Thanks!

For anyone that has skied Telluride, what is the best option for lift tickets? Tickets went on sale today on Telluride's website, and I was shocked to see 4 days priced at nearly $900 in mid-January. Looking for other options, I happened upon the 4 day Epic Day Pass, which appears to cover Telluride, for $354. That is such a big difference, I'm not sure I believe it.

Epic pass is always the way to go, if the resort you want is covered. It's the real deal.

ETA: looked at the site just now, only caveat is its minimum 4-day pass to do Telluride. But seems like that won't be an issue for you.

That's great news. Thanks for your help.

And you're right, we will be skiing either 4 or 5 days, so it appears we are good.

Just be sure to check if there are any black-out dates for the 4 day.

Wife wants to go to Park City in December. Neither of us has skied before so will probably stick with greens. Is December a good time of year to go? Any recs on luxury hotels there close to greens?

Late January thru Feb is usually better for snow quality but if you're new to it you won't really care

My ski plans are starting to take shape, excited to get back to Steamboat this year. Had a great day there in 2021 but didn't have much time to explore the town and didn't get to hit some of the terrian I wanted.

Going to make the drive to Big Sky and Jackson again. Also planning another CO trip, bought a 2 day Epic pass to try out Breck. Not sure I can match last year's 27 days of skiing but I will give it a shot.

Park City is a big resort with lots of snow making machines. As long as it’s cold enough you should be fine.

Steamboat town is great. Yampa Valley Kitchen has a great breakfast. Get a day pass to Old Town Hot Springs on evening (basically a gym with nice hot spring fed pools). The mountain is also fantastic with some tough stuff but nothing crazy. The high alpine at Breck is really cool. Try to grab early bombing laps on Claimjumper before the crowds pick up at the base.

I’ll stick with IKON to avoid the catastrophic lines created by the EPIC pass at Vail resorts.

My high score (vert ft/ single day) from this season:

I had IKON last year and even with Epic being discounted last year you were not stealing anything by going with IKON. If you were not at the Copper or Winter Park lots before 930am you were not getting a parking spot. Winter Park told you to park in town and take the bus, Copper let you sit until people left. The Colorado Resorts from Vail east are packed, no getting around it with either pass.
