That sucks. Had such a blast skiing in breckenridge im ready to plan something else. I think im gonna try and make a yearly ski trip a thing. Not bringing the kids next time though.

If you want the ski plus real ski town experience similar to Breck should try Park City, Steamboat, Telluride and maybe Crested Butte though the town is bit of a drive from the mountain
Vail, keystone, copper, beaver creek etc are just resorts with no real ski town vibe
Vail in particular is just a Disneyfied version of a ski resort, great mountain though and the home of the $15 Coors light on mountain

Great mountain but not shite to do at night. It’s a small town not close to anything. If you are looking for chill spot, WP and Fraser is it.
Chill is exactly what I want, pulling 50 hours a week at work for the past three weeks. I just want to get away and chill for a week before going right back into the grind.

Steamboat mid February here. Skiing, Grizzle-T, good times.
Also going to Steamboat Feb 6-13. I will be riding the tomahawk run pretty much all day, every day.

Turns out this home was out of my price range, bummer.

Don’t forget to hit the Mary Jane side if you go to WP.

When it comes to the ski town, Telluride is by far my favorite with Keystone being the worst. While Breck is a real town, there is not much to do. The dining is subpar and the shopping is great if you like T-shirt shops.
While Vail is Disneyland of Ski towns, it has more to offer in terms of good dining, shopping, nightlife and spas.
The best of both worlds is probably park city.

I've been looking around all over for another ski trip for just me n Mrs jkyle.. neither of us really care about nightlife or the town much at all. Primary focus would just be skiing with a good variety at the beginner/intermediate level. Was looking at sun valley and sandpoint in Idaho. Also taking a good look at mt Batchelor near bend oregon.

Lots of people say this, but I just don’t get it.

Hour east of Seattle. Super easy access to the mountains (<2 hrs to most places), work, and quiet.
Almost time for bed, waking up at 5am for the 2 hr drive and ideally in time for first char. Powder day expected tomorrow

I’ll be at Crystal tomorrow. My powder skis aren’t mounted yet but my 100mm should be fine. Hope it’s epic!

Nice, looks like 14" overnight
. I'll be the guy wearing a white jacket and bills sweatshirt. Hit me up if you feel like skiing, it's just me today.
Should be in the parking lot by 745am or so

We did about 10 years ago. One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. Snowed 72” in four days we were there. Didn’t stop. We will go back in a few years for sure.
