Find a show to take in
Go check out old Vegas
It’s overwhelming first time
You want to see everything
Depending on where you are staying makes a difference as well
The Venetian is cool to go see
Caesar’s and Bellagio are neat
Cosmopolitan grab drinks at chandelier bar

Okay, then hookers and blow!

Depending on how much you plan on gambling (which is probably not much I'm assuming since you're just now going in your mid-50's - but I could be wrong), then you definitely need to drive and see Hoover Dam just because. Red Rock Canyon is also pretty cool...

Other than that, there's a shite ton of great places to eat, drink, and see...you just have to figure out what places look best for you.

I could probably sit through the water one or the Chinese one...Beatles 3rd, then pedo-Mike, then the weird creepy looking one.

Enjoyed Beatles love cirque du soleil but it just depends on your preference
There all good just different
Plenty to do even if you don’t gamble
You can play slots or $5 black jack all night

Thank you for your service!

Have a great time in Vegas. Honestly, you will have no problems finding something to do. That place is going 24/7.

I used to go a lot with work when I was younger and those were some great times!

O is the best of the Cirque shows.

Absinthe is the best show in Vegas though.

The Mob Museum and Valley of Fire are my two favorite non casino activities.

CUT and SW for steaks.

Agreed that Absinthe is the best show on the Strip. It’s super raunchy fun. Check out who is in residency; if it’s an artist you like, take in a concert.

Make a list of everything you want to do. Prioritize them. Make sure you do the top 3-5. Save the rest for next time.

Take an afternoon to chill at the pool wherever you stay.

Sign up for MGM’s MLife or Caesar’s Rewards. Book directly with the resorts using the member rate. Free to join. Wynn has one as well. Pretty sure Venetian/Palazzo and Cosmo will too. All other resorts fall under MGM or Caesar’s. Choose where you stay wisely. It makes a huge difference.

Roller coaster at NYNY at least once.

Splurge on a luxury item at a high end boutique you wouldn’t otherwise buy for yourself or the Mrs.

Just got back from trip. All the Cirque shows were dark fo Covid. Uber is pain to get usually 30,45 min. wait if you can get one. Resturants are at 25% so wit can be long. Get reservations early

Go toOB museum. It was gopd.

Agreed. While it wasn't really my thing, the wife enjoyed the Michael Jackson thing we saw a lot.

Was the best part about the city.

Everything on the Strip didn't do anything for me. It was like going from cheesey cruise ship to cheesey cruise ship. The best part of our trip was the Grand Canyon tour.

I love Vegas. My recommendations for 1st timers:

1. See a show. Hope that's possible now. Cirque, concert, something.
2. See Vegas from up high. Go the the Stratosphere to 107 Lounge for the Happy Hour from 4-7. Ride the High Roller. There are usually groupons or living social discounts. Go to the Voodoo Bar or the Foundation Room. My favorite is the Stratosphere. We stop there on the way to Fremont Street one night of our stay sometimes. Just pick one. They are all fun and the lights at night are awesome.
3. Go to Fremont Street.
4. See the Conservatory at the Bellagio.
5. See the Bellagio Fountain show.
6. Walk the Strip and check out all the casinos. Play a few slots along the way.
7. Have drinks at a cool bar. Some of my favorites are the Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan, Parasol Up/Down at the Wynn, and Rhumbar at the Mirage. The Wynn also has some gorgeous floral displays.
8. Have a great dinner. Make reservations and plan it. I'd usually not choose this for the night I have the show.
9. There's other things, like the Mob Museum, the Neon Museum, Hoover Damn, Red Rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, etc., but 1-8 are the very Vegas things to do.
