I am on the verge of dropping Spectrum and going to Verizon internet with a YouTubeTV package. I have been told by a few folks that this works well in the Slidell, LA area. However; I cannot get confirmation that the SECN+ (stream only) programs will be available with the YouTubeTV package.

Can anyone confirm/deny that I will be able to stream the SECN+ programs with the YouTubeTV as my "provider"?

Thanks.

Yes you will be able to. If you go to login with a cable provider with ESPN it will give you a full list of compatible cable/streaming services.

Just jumped on my YTTV in Jefferson Parish and I have ESPN, ESPN2, SECNetwork, ACC Network, ESPNU, ESPNNews, FS1, FS2, NBA TV, NFL Network, BTN, CBS Sports, Golf Channel in my guide

Go to the ESPN Watch App and I also have 11 ESPN+ options, ESPN3, Long-Horn Network, UFC & ESPN Deportes. During football/baseball season you will also have multiple SEC+ channels, they just don't have anything broadcasting right now

Long-Horn Network

I have YTTV and I can confirm from Tuesday that you are not allowed to watch content on that network with YTTV

YTTV also does not give you access to ESPN+ content.

Are you referring to the non-live stuff, or the live channels? I have the base plan for YTTV and when I log into my ESPN Watch I can watch ESPN+ live content

Yttv does not provide access to any ESPN+ content live or recorded.

Everything appears in the ESPN app but that doesn't mean you can watch it all.

I jumped into my Watch ESPN app just now and I am able to watch Ark St v Troy, Arnold Palmer Invitational, Real Madrid v Barcelona... Are you saying my YTTV should not be allowing this?

Edit: Just realized I have my ESPN+ through my verizon account. I'm a dumbass

That’s correct but I think having access to SECN gets you access to SECN+

Yes, you get it, but you'll need the ESPN app.

It does. The naming is dumb but SECN+ has nothing to do with ESPN+. SECN+ is available to everyone who gets the regular SECN and SECN comes with YTTV.

In a nutshell, YTTV gives you access to SEC+ via using your YTTV credentials on ESPN app or website.

It does not give you access to things airing only on ESPN+, or LHN.

You need to subscribe to the ESPN app for like $5 a month.

This is the way. If you find out a game is absolutely unavailable in any of your packages, just pay the sub-$10 monthly fee (cancel anytime) for ESPN+ App and watch your game. If you are a year round sports watching fanatic, consider just keeping it. It's a great value if you like watching less-popular sports on a regular basis. If you are like me, and only care during CFB season, then you only subscribe for those months you need it.
