the main thing i miss is the search bar on the taskbar at the bottom. i don't like having to click on something else to then search. actually, i prefer the overall taskbar of windows 10.
other than that i don't really notice much difference.

Not a single computer in my house is eligible for Windows 11. One is as new as last year. It is ridiculous.

I liked 10 a lot.
11 has a few things I like but I did not like having to rebuild a start menu from scratch.
Notifications have been pretty legit.

I had to go in and make some adjustments because it was sucking down my laptop battery.
It’s ok. Mostly superficial changes that take a minute getting used to. Nothing to really write home about.

I've had W 11 for two weeks. I have only missed 10 when I've been very tired and the default "where is _____" still goes to the 10 sites.
I'm thankful that the olde version of Windows office still works on this one. There are some things that show up that I wonder where they came from. The thing that lets you have four active screens at one time may be useful if I become comfortable with it.

Any computer where you have to maintain software updates and virus protection is a pain in butt.

Linux: Way to go, but earlier iterations scare technically savvy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Have you (or anyone else) figured out how to get the clock on the task bar of the second monitor? I have my laptop as the 2nd one one hooked up to my monitor, so it's pretty annoying having to look up at the monitor if I'm doing something on the laptop monitor.
As to the difference for the OP....I wasn't really on WIN10 long before the switch. One thing I like, and can't remember if WIN10 had this, was the multiple ways of splitting the screen when you hover over the expand window box. That is really cool as they give you various set ups, and you can do it on multiple screens too.
Other than that I'm a pretty basic user, and I also have a MAC laptop. Each their own. May need to look into the Linux laptops someday, as I use LibraOffice instead of a subscription WIN Suite.
