I'm a long time Trend Micro user too. I like it because it isn't bloatware that takes over your PC like Norton and McAfee. Buy it on e-bay and you can get a 5-license package for about fifteen bucks. Just buy new each year instead of renewing direct with TM.

I've used Microsoft Security Essentials every since in came out without any issues. Currently have a Windows 8 laptop with the antivirus embedded so I've been using that

I run kaspersky on all our PC's at work and on my parents and sister's PC's at home.

We run trend on our Apple's at work and I use none on mine at home

I use a combo of Norton and Malware Bytes (the paid always on version). For web surfing Malware Bytes seems much more active (catches more regularly), I'm sure Norton does a good job on email viruses, but I know how to not activate those. I guess if I had to chose one and I wasn't an idiot with email, I'd pick MB.

Avast on the remaining XP boxes.

Security Essentials on the 7 Boxes.

Built in (Essentials) on 8 and 8.1, but you have to manually set it to automatically update if you disable automatic Windows updates.

Eset on 2003-2012 servers.
