Budget?

If you're open to a budget option, I love my (multiple) pair(s) of OneOdio wired headphones. Super affordable, good/great sound quality, comfortable (I basically wear my all day) and an outstanding warranty. They have 4.5 stars on Amazon with roughly 8K reviews.

OneOdio A70 Bluetooth Over Ear Headphones ON sale today @ Amazon for $37. They're a steal.

loaded question. Are these for working out or for just home/travel use? Are you in the apple ecosystem? If so, pretty simple:
1) Gym/small footprint: Apple AirPod Pros
2) No budget/home/travel use: Apple AirPod Max's

If you have apple tv's or ipad or whatever, both of these with noise cancellation and with the surround sound effect that can be enabled are amazing.

I'm hoping my new desktop that comes with wifi will link to my hearing aids like my phone does. Got a really nice app for the 4 preset filters that extend options within those presets in multiple ways.

Would definitely change my streaming habits to hear THAT clearly and defined once again.

With my profound hearing loss, headphones cannot offer as much volume for whisperer speaking types.

ETA: Those headphones are labeled "Made in Chian". Either Chian is a place or they missed their own origin.

Aftershoks. I wear mine all day. Over the ear using bone conduction. Work great.

ReSound is the current brand, what the La. Commission for the Deaf recommended late last year. My insurance covered them but I was eligible for a grant too if not. Better than the $4k T-Moxi I had.

I've had these for close too a year, and have purchased camera's and smart plugs from this small upstart. These are comfortable and long lasting, and work with voice control. Wyze noise cancelling

Sigh. I shouldn't have listed the Airpod Pros cause, you're right, might be trying to avoid. However, the Airpod Max's are great IF in the apple ecosystem. I didn't get if he's system agnostic or tied to apple.
Anyhow, I've had plenty of headphones so not really drinking any coolaid but I am in the walled garden so the seemlessness of it all is worthwhile.

I would recommend the Jaybirds too but that's all in the earbud class.

Just got a pair and they're great. I use them at the gym and around the house and never once have they slipped out.

For $350, the Sony WH-1000XM4 are tough to beat. Jabra Elite 85h is a great second choice for $100 less. If you want to go the cheap route, Soundcore Life Q20 is a great deal for noise cancelling headphones at $60 or so. Not the same, elite sound as the other two but way outperforms other headphones in the sub-$100 price range IMO.

I've found my TREKZ Titanium to be really comfortable.
