You most likely want to use a vector image program (vs raster image).

Free
https://inkscape.org/

Paid
Adobe Illustrator

Canva has thousands of genre specific logo templates. It's very easy to navigate and the designs are excellent. Can probably get a free premium trial that will last long enough to create whatever you need and then just cancel. I keep the premium subscription and visit the website daily for some sort of need.

Serious question - do you own the AI generated logo if it came down to it?

Illustrator - vector files for resizing and swag come in handy.

If you get big enough where it matters, you should probably be paying someone for branding where this isn't a question. Fiverr even makes it cheap.
