What are you expecting out of the Pixel 3 this year?

There's a ton of credible rumors out. Do yourself a Google search. Recent leaks of Pixel 3 and Pixel XL 3 size shape etc.

I'm pretty disappointed in google pixel going the way of the notch. I just dont care about 100% screen to body ratio. Just get it close and keep front firing speakers and im good.

why did it take you that long? The nexus lin of phones were the best phones on the market when they came out, as was the Pixel, and the Pixel 2. Why does the pixel3 just now spark your interest?

Google has always had 100% of the design for the nexus/pixel line just had other people build them.

Not really

They basically copied LGs design for the N5 and the N6 was a moto design

Google designed those phones and with LG building the N5 and 6 they were able to make their own version. That is what everything i read about these phones during development said.

Google contract with the manufacture of the phone they designed was that the phone company could make their own version of it.

I dont know specifics but that is what every article said when these phones were coming out. This isnt some after the fact "ohh hey these are the same phones" shite

Why is this not a regular fixture on ALL smartphones??? There's literally no purpose for rear speakers.

I've not owned one, but I was always under the impression the quality of construction/materials was always a bit lacking compared to Apple and Samsung (starting with the S6). I read that that's part of the reason Google wants to control everything now, even construction.

ETA: I'm an Android guy and have nearly pulled the trigger on Nexus phones before. Maybe this is the year. I have friends who have owned several of them and rave about them.
