It has been pretty stable. Not 1 buffer last night for the championship game. $40 buys you a year
Buffering drives me crazy and for 30 bucks a month, Gears is as stable as Cox.

I could deal with a little buffering. Like once every couple hours or so if it's $5 vs $30. I've heard great things on gears though

Do you use Gears or Gears Reloaded?

This is lame:

Yep, now it's the price of regular cable.

Ditched Cox. Signed up for YouTube TV w/ Showtime and Curiousity Stream add ons. Got HBO Now. Will still save over $125 month over Cox.

It’s all the same. Just make sure you are actually getting a legit gears product. I go through drob.tech (type that into your browser).

I tried Gears TV but the Gears app and myfair guide app are horrific.

Know what truly sucks?
Here we are in 2019 and all these legal streaming IPTV providers cater to cheap streaming boxes with no PC program option. Browsers just don't deliver the same fluid experience.
Have to have a HTPC setup yet still have to have a cheap streaming box setup for legal IPTV viewing.

I love it. It's very fluid and never buffers.

And when someone says never buffers, they mean it never buffers. In IPTV land that’s not a given. Gears is just as stable as Cox, lol.

I was looking at sling, mainly because of the channels they have, should i upgrade my internet from 100meg to 200 or more?
Since we'll be going from having tv on its own service, to now it will be dragging on internet line with computer and other devices?
These companies need to stop with the shite channels, especially while cutting channels people watch. NO ONE wants cheddar tv or cheddar news, not even mr cheddar wants to watch it.

That looks EXACTLY like the old filters that were needed for cable modems, back in the day. Is it possibly the same thing???

Oh wow! after reading about 10 pages I have 10 post its of things to google (tivimate, iptv, showbox, gaia, etc etc etc) a bit overwhelmed. So I just thought I would tell the techies where I am and hope you can guide me.
I have cut the cord long ago. No cable subscription to Hulu only. I have a firestick. I had Kodi downloaded and of course that has since stopped working.
What next? what do I need? where do I start? TIA

Dropped Directv now, have it narrowed down to YouTube tv and ps vue core and am looking for some thoughts.
Same price, both offer all the channels I want, number of streams isn’t a factor for me right now.
My main questions have to do with interface and reliability. Any preferences for one interface over the other? Any experiences with outages or buffering with one over the other?

Just looked this up. It's nice! Huge EPG

Yea you don't really need real debrid. It's more of a luxury and easier for the less tech savvy person to find a good link.
