TCL 55"/65" 4 series vs 6 series

Looking at getting the TCL tv in either 55 or 65 inches as they seem to be a great budget tv right now. Does anyone know the difference in the 4 series and 6 series, and is it worth the price difference? Its about $200 more for the each size tv in the 6 series vs the 4.

Read their respective reviews on rtings to see if the difference is worth $200 for you.

Split the difference and get the 5 series

You'll find your answer in this thread. But concensus is that it's worth the extra 200.

I love the built in roku on these TVs so much.
Also being able to control the tv from across the house via an app is excellent.
I have family that goes to sleep with the TV blasting and I can turn it down from the comfort of my own bed.

I just found out that I can control it from my smart home hub, too. So, now the TV turns on and switches to the input for my work computer when I walk into my home office in the evenings of week days. Also, I can have alexa turn on my computer and the tv with a single command. Its nice to be able to tell it to turn on while walking to the office, and then have the computer booted up and ready for the fingerprint log in when I sit down.

these roku TCLs are the bomb.
i got the 5 series 65" from costco for under $500 last month and when i paid with my costco visa it automatically gave me FOUR YEARS of warranty.
probably worth a costco membership for this one purchase.
ETA i freaking love this TV. everything the guy above said about how it can be controlled plus it throws a little "HDR" badge on the screen for a couple seconds when playing 4K HDR content which was helpful to me when trying to figure out if a couple of 4K movies I had were HDR or not so I was able to update them.
from the time i turn the tv on until the apps show up is about 3-4 seconds..a HUGE speed increase over my other 4k Vizio which takes like 20 seconds to wake up.

Very cool! I already have a Costco membership so that sounds like it might be a winner!

you wont see it online; check the stores. i think they may have limited stock now of the 65" model because only 1 of the 2 warehouses in nashville had it the other day.
(yes i'm ocd so i always go by to price check it when i'm in the store in case it drops )

I’m actually in Nashville as well. Usually go to the cool springs location. Which one had it?

well there you go. cool springs only has up to 55" right now as you know how ridiculous that place gets; anything that's a good deal wont last long.
so yes, try nashville west first. i'm going to swing by there on my way home to get gas today so i'll look as well.
also if they're out, inquire with the store manager because they may be about to refresh their stock or get a different model (please get the 6 series costco!). i hadn't actually asked why the inventory was so low.
also - DONT LOOK AT COSTCO APP OR ONLINE because they rarely have these cheaper TVs available there which i'm guessing is because they cant afford to ship them for free at that price. You always want to check in the store.
i paid with costco visa which bumped the warranty to FOUR YEARS which was also pretty awesome.
