Anyone picking one up?
Best Buy, Wal Mart, Amazon, and Target look to be getting online stock. None of them seem to have released it yet for whatever reason.

If anyone was anticipating this and didn't realize today was the release date, hopefully this will redirect you to your f5 key for the day.

I'll be watching intermittently online myself, amazon will send an email when stock is available, and I have a couple of folks that are also able to intermittently watch today. I'll update who/where has online stock if I can later.

CNET link to who should have stock today

Update: 0630- Amazon is sold out and being resold for $240 at this time.
Best Buy still says "coming soon"
GameStop says "Sold out"

I was pretty sure the release date is tomorrow. At least that's when my pre-order should be available at Gamestop.

Why the rush to by these? i mean i grew up with this system. I remember it well and loved the games but its like old tv shows you remember fondly when you watch them again they are not that great. Not saying i wouldn't play one just don't get the hype to have to have one.

Your best bet in finding one tomorrow is to go to a Wal-Mart in a rural area.

24 hour Walmarts will be selling this in their stores at midnight FYI.

ETA: Walmart near me will start handing out tickets at 8pm to determine your place in line for midnight. My husband is there now

ETA: It's not 8 pm yet here and he wants me to come down there as well to get a ticket so we can buy another one for our brother in law for Christmas. Meaning I have to stay up late tonight and get very little sleep for work tomorrow. For a christmas present. Oh hellllll no

My husband was #9 to get a ticket last night at walmart. He was able to leave and come back and get in line right before midnight.

Now he's already going in late to work this am to try and pick up another one

raspberry pi

You confuse the market for this item.

80% of the people in this market don't know what a Pi is nor want to configure it.

They want a one stop shop.

Husband got in line at Target at 6:45(they open at 8). He was easily able to get a ticket to buy one when they opened.

So now we have 2(gonna give second as a Christmas gift.....unless he decides to sell it instead).

Picked up last one at local gamestop. Just pulled up, walked in store and had the great opportunity to get the last one in stock. They had 12 total.

I’m not a gamer. Neither is my husband.

But he loves the classic Nintendo and Super Nintendo for nostalgia reasons.

I would imagine you have many people that want the SNES Classic that are not big gamers but are mid 30s wanting it for nostalgia reasons.

For 240.00 ...no lol, maybe for 50.00 that is hilarious and genius at same time by Nintendo.
