Sirus/XM reception issues around BR?

Specifically near Airline @ Cedarcrest. Something in that area seems to block my signal. Anyone else ever notice that and happen to know what causes it? No big deal- just wondering....

It always drops off in the wife's SUV around the P-ville Walmart. I usually blame Walmart's redneck beacon.

There has been an ongoing problem with Sirius/XM and TMobile Cell Tower frequencies. Google will turn up more info. We started noticing it a few weeks ago around S Baton Rouge. From what I found it has been going on since about 2015, maybe TMobile has started doing their upgrades around here. Also doesn't help that all the trees have their leaves now.

I only had a subscription briefly when I was at LSU, but constantly driving through campus with all those trees interfering with the signal made it unusable. I cancelled and never looked back.

I have issues on Corporate Boulevard. there is a cell tower behind Izzos.

I have a different issue: only one station goes in and out. Why would one do this and not others. Not in BR though.

This has always been my biggest gripe. The sound quality is really not excusable for a subscription based service. Then throw in the shoddy reception and I can't understand why people pay for this.

I swear their service is getting worse every year. IF you call them they will tell you its due to cellphone towers. This excuse isnt entirely true.

Mine has issues near tall buildings, but it also blanks out at a couple of spots in town (Shreveport) where there are no structures above one story. Must be one of those darned cell towers nearby.
If you sell a product in today's America that is ruined by cell phone signals, then your product is dogshit. Time to retool.

Same here. Been happening for a couple years.

Same here
Not just one channel, but certain ones
I think when they merged, some channels still use different satellites or different frequencies
Certain channels go out in the same spot every single day like clockwork, and even on the interstate with no trees
