I went to Costco in Lafayette this morning even though online showed out of stock. They have 2 of the LG 65 CX left in box and a display. $1499 with 5 yr warranty. Thanks for heads up!

They also have a LG 77” CX display for $2300

I got the 55" Sony Bravia A8 on sale for 1200 a few weeks ago on a Best Buy sale (back to 1899). It's last years A80. I regret not getting it earlier, the picture is hard to beat from anything else in the 4k realm. They'll have another sale soon as they're trying to move them all out.
I purchased the Sony A8h today for $1099. Not available in the stores. Ships to you for free. Awesome price.

I recently picked up a 75inch x95J for my bright arse living room. My family also is bound to leave this TV on random crap all day so I didn't want to risk burn in.

I have a 55inch LG B9 OLED in my bedroom and I honestly prefer the x95j. Granted it's probably just the 20 inches of size that make me feel that way but it's a sharp TV.

There's a part of me that wants to swap it our for the 77 inch a80J, but I'm paranoid of dropping damn near 4k on a TV that could be ruined in 5 years because of my family leaving it on.

I’ve been browsing TVs the past few years and nothing has come close to the oleds….

But good lord that top of the line Samsung mini-led (ie. Qled) might even best an oled’s picture quality.

I bought the QN95A, 75" about 6 months ago. I wouldn't say "by a mile" but it is pretty easily the best looking picture I have ever seen whether the room is brightly lit or dark. It's hard to describe the detail.

Heads up. Price of the A80J has dropped at all retailers. Costco, Amazon, Best Buy.

$2999 for 77 inch.
