OT ballers: What is your TV audio setup?

My LG soundbar is finally going to the electronics graveyard and I am thinking of getting something else besides a Sonos beam. What are OT ballers using?

Just 5.1 currently. Surround speakers in ceiling. Just got a 7.2 receiver and new tv. About to upgrade. Have a second zone on back patio, but it’s only 2.1 right now. I need to add surround speakers out there.

My audio is starting to go out in my tv. It's a 55 in LED/3D from 2010. Will be looking at new sets when this finally dies.
*Still have the original box, bought in Cali, moved to the south and east coast then back to the midwest and has been in storage multiple times.

Well, I got a great deal on the Sonos play bar and subwoofer six months ago. Couldn't be happier. I opted for it over integrated surround sound. I'm no audiophile, but it sounds like legit surround sound to me. It was a lot less headache to set up than built in speakers, plus I can operate it from my phone easily.
Full disclosure: Not an OT baller. Back to my corner.

What if you’re not a baller? I’ve got rabbit ears and that’s it cause I am OT poor.

Well now I feel like shite for talking trash.
We had the basement finished with wired surround sound. The shite will shake dust from the drywall if you crank it up.
But honestly....you don’t use it as much as you think you will.

My wife curses the day I put surround sound into my man cave. During football season it gets cranked up and with the surround speakers turned up even higher/center speaker lower it sounds like I'm at the stadium. Thankfully the neighbors have learned to live with my colorful language for those 6 months out of the year (youngest kids in the neighborhood are my teens.)

No complaints on how the AV guy set up my Onkyo receiver—links well with my phone.

Samsung Q70 75 inch TV with the Samsung HW-Q70R soundbar. I might add the two rear speakers, haven't decided yet.

A tv mounted on the wall and all the wires run back into the wall.
It all runs to a centralized media station so there are no wires that are seen anywhere

55” Sony A9F resting about 6 feet up high on top a cherry wood sliding door console. A9F has 3 speakers that play out of the screen and 2 woofers out of stand in the back. Wonderful picture.
One of the best sounding tv’s available without
aided help. Just did not like clutter of surround sound speakers. Do not like subs. Dogs would probably not like them also. Subs have that “body intrusion effect” I do not like. Inside the sliding door console I have two SVS book shelf speakers and a SVS center speaker. These are connected to an old pioneer stereo component stand along side of the tv console. I have a vintage turntable and amplifier that I can spin records on. (like my sides) Amplifier is about shot. Looking at the Yamaha AS1100. Maybe a CD player too. Inside the console is and old Yamaha receiver. In the back of the console is a piano seat which is the stand for an old zenith stereo transistor speaker that I found at the Good Will years ago. I hook up to the amp to get that early r and r sound. On top of the zenith speaker are two Bose 301’s connected to the Yamaha receiver. The old Bose have a good muffler sound for talk radio and play by play. I know I do not have much but I am grateful and enjoy what I have.
