My only concern is not getting the true throughput without hardwiring.

I got this setup two Black Fridays ago. It’s as solid as it gets. The app is great too.

ETA: they make a satellite for outdoor use as well if you need that flexibility

I would expect hardwiring would be better but is this a good WiFi mwah system or should I look into something else.

it has been rock solid and made WiFi issues here at my home, 3800 sq. ft, a think of the past.

I’m out of the loop on all of this because my house is fairly small and the regular Comcast router has been enough for my needs.

I’m about to move in to a much larger house. Curious what the benefit of this is over what’s provided by the internet providers? Would this work with all internet providers?

Bought it a couple of months ago. I shouldn't have waited so long. Awesome router system. I have already added a 2nd satellite for the garage.

i need to add a satellite, but you can't seem to find a deal on a satellite

most of them are the cost of a whole system, and I don't feel like buying a whole system and trying to resale the parts i don't need

if anyone has an extra satellite, i'd be happy to buy it off of you

Why do you need an extra satellite? Coverage? Throughput?

I love my Orbi system

I have a 2 storey home and the base + satellite cover 100%. fast too

We consistently run two streams and an online game session

I got the system with the cable modem and it has been rock solid. The Orbi system isn't cheap, but it's been worth every penny I paid for it. Easy to use and setup, great app, throughput has been great and we stream all of our TV.
Wife and I both work from home, so a reliable connection is imperative.

I got this today.

The setup was ridiculously easy. The hardest part was updating the firmware on the router and the remotes. I also had to disable the WiFi on my AT&T Uverse router. This was easy and I simply reused the password and SSD name so i didn't have to change the access information on any of my devices.

Using the Wi-Fi Sweetspots app, I was able to test the remote locations for better coverage. In my 2 story 5,000sq ft house, I am getting 150-200mb throughput regardless of location in the house. Nearest the remotes, it goes up to 400mb. I'm curious to see if the hardwired option would be any better/faster. This is fantastic for a $200 solution and certainly better that the single AT&T Uverse router/wifi box that I had.

Thanks to the OP for posting this.

I have this exact system. Works great for a 3000sq ft house but def doesn't reach 5000sq ft like it claims

I'm in the market for an additional plug in piece to add a little range outside
