Weird...just got a redirect.

Can anyone give me advice on here to make my pixel as good as everyone else's? Please don't say stop porn, that's not happening

But seriously, the only site I honestly use is TD Forums and my school stuff. This shite is ridiculous.

I think these sites have it wrong. It would seem to me the person with the leaked phone in the videos are stating 6.7 inches and this would be the dimensions for the entire front of the phone.

Android 9 has made my battery life a little worse on my XL, but that's the only thing wrong with mine

My messages app crashes a lot, and often won't send a message. It's not always laggy, but it doesn't seem to be handling multitasking well. If I keep too many apps open it starts dragging. It's not on usable, not even close. But it's not what it once was. Considering that it's two years old, I don't think that's really a crime. I just have to pay attention to how many apps I have open and make sure I manage it because it doesn't seem to be managing that very well anymore. My guess is because of the amount of RAM.

My messages crash as well lately. I go and type a few words and it disappears. Like I said, I've enjoyed the pixel as a transition, but I'm ready to go back IOS. I don't ever recall having issues on my 4s or 6s.

if you are logged to that your gmail account it backs up i all contacts, text messages, and phon settings. When i switched from pixel to pixel 2 my pixel 2 looked exactly like my pixel because it imported all settings.

I see threads here all the time about things going wrong with phones "that just work"

hulklogan has it right, you have a 3 year old phone, apps have evolved over 3 years and use more to process. do a factory reset and see what it does. Go back to iOS if you wish, but apple "just works" is bullshite.

Well, I bought this phone for it's 'amazing' battery life, which never seemed impressive. I have seen where the XL is supposed to be better for that, but still, it never seemed super impressive.

I phone I never had lags or redirects. Never had anything warning me. My applications never shut down, and usually when I reported the issue I never had it again.

I think you are trying to dig too much into this, I'm telling you my issues, I have screen shot a redirect while posting in this thread as well.

I'll take the one guys advice and clear my phone, but I don't run apps, I basically use my phone to text 3 ppl, surf Facebook, and post on TD. Oh yeah, occasionally porn as well.

I was hesitant to move to Android when I did from seeing the lag of my wife's Samsung's that she has had. Glad the pixel was a step above that, but I feel like I had less issues with an iPhone.

Hope this helps

It's possible the software is reading it wrong on the leaked XL that was found last week but I wouldn't bet on that.

Google messed up big time, but what's crazy is they still have SOME time to fix the disaster known as the Pixel 3 XL. These leaks are out so early and they're obviously keeping track of reactions from big time reviewers and bloggers.

It's awful looking and makes absolutely no sense. They desperately need a new design team over there at Google..

what do you consider amazing battery life?

I have a 2XL and my battery life is GREAT. With my normal useage i have about 30-40% left when i get to bed. Saying that with heavy usage it will die in the early afternoon. There isnt a phone out there that will last more than a day with 100% brightness and extremely heavy usage.

neither has my pixel 2xl. I have seen plenty of screen shots of iphones doing this too.

Crap from the Facebook app causes those popups also. I've seen it on my mom's phone before
