If you want to watch live sports, I'd go with either YoutubeTV or Hulu Live. If you get Hulu Live, it comes with ESPN+.

Thats not cutting the cord. that is just swapping cords.

YouTube tv is the best first step from cable/dish to streaming

College football is way too big of a money maker to go substantially into a streamer that's not an expensive live TV stream.

I like Fubo. Plenty of SEC/LSU games and Hallmark for my wife

This guy gets it.

Fubo interface is the best out there right now.

Hell you can watch 3 or 4 games at once in their app.

Drawback... Unless this changed very recently... Mainly has 720P resolution and 2 channel stereo audio.

I think the framus intersects with the ramistan, approximately at the paternoster.

Just call dish. DIRECTV matched YouTube tv prices for me for a year. They do it every time I try to cancel. Now I have more channels than YouTube tv for the same price per month.

My contract is coming up soon also. I plan on taking baby steps and reduce my programming from the Top 200 to the Flex package and fill in the gaps with Frndly. I figured out we only watched 29 channels of the 200+ channels we are paying for. I also have an OTA outdoor antenna to pull in the locals. If I can do this without getting another two year contract I have the option to drop everything if streaming works out. My only option for internet service is the T-Mobile wireless internet.

Another waste of money when you realize the limited use. Probably pay $5-$10/ football game every month. Even worse during hoops season

Can you get all the Saints games like that? The Saints games are the only reason I'm still considering Direct TV

Yes, all major sports and pretty much all televised FBS games. And the Firestick web app has built in pop-up blocker

Where do you live? As in, can you get ATT Fiber or do you need to go with like Tmobile 5g home internet?

Do you absolutely need the NFL package?

What’s the image quality? Is it free for quality reasons?

I would love to ditch Dish and stream, but my efforts to convince my wife that everything she watches can be seen through streaming content at less cost have been unsuccessful. She insists she loves the randomness of the programming. Her viewing habits are to browse the net on one device while background content plays on the big screen.

I have my own setup where I stream elsewhere when we’re not watching something together, but if there was a way to set a playlist and randomize it like on Spotify, this would be the tool that enables us to cut ties from Dish. Anyone know of any way to get this feature?
