TIA for any help you can provide... Exodus has become unusable lately. I use a VPN but have had little success connecting to streams... does anybody know what the problem is? Better yet is there a better more dependable alternative out there?

Covenant has been out for a few months. Replaces Exodus.

Covenant isn't much better.
I have found that if i watch a show the next day after it airs, i can usually watch the HD stream with no issues. If i wait a week to watch the show, it's difficult to find any stream that will work, much less an HD one.

I use Real Debrid with Exodus. Works pretty well.

I have given up on next day stuff. I use covenant kind of like Netflix. Wait a few weeks or months and don't get pissed if something doesn't work. It is free, so I set my expectations really low.

I use Terrarium TV and it works really well. Most of what I watch is available the day after air. Sometimes you can find a stream about an hour after air. I've stopped using Kodi unless it's my last option.

May not help for tv, but appvalley / moviebox on iOS works well.

Try Streamio, it is supposed to be a replacement for KODI. However, there are no "builds", so you need to add eack APK. Also, I use Cosmic Saints "Leviathan", they update and add APK's as there are issues. They removed "Aries Wizard" after last week. I have my settings on the build to update at start-up. That being said; KODI is becoming a pain in the arse.

The Covenant repo has been changed so you need to uninstall it and reinstall using the new repo in order to get updates. LINK

Exodus does have an update out but its not from the original developers. There are some spinoffs of the Exodus addon out there but I haven't tried any of them. Covenant works fine for me but I also use a vpn. I'm pretty sure my ISP was throttling my Kodi and IPTV streams as after I went to a VPN, everything improved dramatically.

The problem with Stremio is that all the 3rd Party addons are mostly torrent downloads. Be careful.

I am pretty sure I should be using a vpn but I have no idea what it does, how to find one, and how to install it. Is there a tutorial or recommendations?

Thanks!

I use ipvanish....its $3 or$4/ mo if you pay for a year. Once you register with them online, they have an app for firetv, roku, etc. you download, input your login info and start it before starting kodi. They also have apps for your pc, tablet and phone. It does interfere with Netflix since netflix doesn't allow VPN usage.....although you can get around that. I also use the VPN and set my location in the UK and have the iBBC player installed in Kodi which has tons of on demand BBC TV, Movies, Music etc. LINK

Interesting, I haven't had any issues even with really old TV shows.

I have a question about this, I have a router that allows for a vpn on the router. So that would cover all my devices, etc. Does this effect Netflix as well?

The covenant developer "retired" from pressure from the government.

I use terrarium now on my firestick and my phone! Haven't had a failed link yet.

For sports, I use vipleague .se but without the space.. It has some pop-ups but I can deal with them.
