Just switched from Cox to AT&T internet in NOLA

Hope I made the right choice. Dollar wise I definitely made the right choice. Cut my internet bill in half.
COX just pissed me off for several different reasons.
Guess I’ll find out next week when my modem comes in.
Anyone have any experience with AT&T vs COX in NOLA?

Is this in Orleans Parish? I was under the impression ATT was only available in Jefferson.

Yes we’ve had both here in New Orleans. Cox was good with 300mbps however att is awesome with 1000mbps if it’s in your area.

It's been over 5 years since I went back to Cox, but I quickly regretted switching to AT&T and barely made it through the 2 year contract. The internet was glitchy and slow. I constantly had to reset my TV box bc it would lock up in the middle of a show. They claimed it was bc of updates, but couldn't answer why they always update at 7pm.
But, I have heard they have greatly improved their product in the last few years. So good luck.

I cancelled it...I didnt realize it was only the Basic 5 Mbps internet.....

I switched in Jefferson; Cox kept jacking up the price without warning. I ran both side by side for a week to test and kept ATT. Same internet speeds, similar TV package and phone at $80/month less. Screw Cox.

Anyone know what att plans are to expand internet in the metro area? I can't get it where I'm at, only cox
