That's not so special anymore since they've merged, I think.

i imagine rural areas would be terrible with fi
i'm so used to streaming music in my vehicle on 'high quality' setting that i cant imagine fi would make sense for me w/ the pay-as-you-use data. maybe right now while i'm working from home but i can't stand FM radio so for years ive streamed everything when i'm in a car.

ailing OG XL

My 2 XL has been on the fritz lately as well. Voicemail not syncing or syncing every 5 minutes. It turns off all notifications randomnly and doesn't ring or vibrate for incoming texts or calls.

This is why I moved away from Apple.

CAD doesn't have time to listen to the same song twice. He boasts a library of over 50,000 high quality and manually maintained tracks that your peasant ears wouldn't know how to appreciate. If he listens to the same song twice he'll never make it through his entire library before he dies. Then he dies knowing he wasted a tremendous amount of time and resources maintaining the world's foremost jazz library when he could have just gotten Spotify.

Nice rant but Spotify would use the same amount of data so not sure where you were going with that.

Tiny battery. You will be charging by lunch if you use your phone.

Now that Google has rectified the bezel situation from the 3a

I don't get why more people don't call out Google for their love for bezels or notches more often. While Apple, Samsung, and OnePlus were trying to squeeze more screen size into their phones, Google was asleep behind the wheel. When phones like the OnePlus 6 and iPhone X were pushing the envelope, Google came out with a bezel heavy Pixel 2 .

Excuse me sir, but this is the tech board. You are only allowed to throw shade at one mega corporation for their mistakes, and that’s Apple.

I'm sure this sounded cute in your head but stupidity by all tech companies gets called out on this board.

Here's one from LSU Coyote

Here to report the Pixel 4A and Android 11 are a nightmare and more problems pop up daily.

Anyone else experience Android 11 issues? My Pixel 2 seems to have no issues, but also only use it for pictures. However, the GFs new 4A has new issues that pop up daily. Also requires several restarts a day. Will spend a little time with it tonight. Might reload android 11.

Google's design team died with the Nexus line. They quit trying after killing it off.

my 3a is still fine. the only thing this brings to the table for me would be 5g connectivity

And the 5 is just around the corner (supposedly). I don't need 5g yet and probably won't until the 5a/6 cycle, and even then maybe not.

Surely the big carriers are going to gouge us on the initial 5g data plans, right?
